I got one of those sappy e-mails a couple of years ago, and the story was almost the same, except the girl just pretended to bump in to the kid who peed, and she took a bunch of grief for being really clumsy. They were BFF's forever more.

This may have been brought up or pointed out before in this thread, but why didn't your daughter just tell the Principle the truth? That she did all that because her friend pissed herself.

That she was just helping her out so she wouldn't be embarrassed.

Because adults talk just like kids do if not worse. What is done was done and it didn't make any sense to me to go back and mess with a situation that seemingly worked out.
