Kim was actually fairly unimpressive. He gassed too early trying to work the back. Although the decision was correct for the scoring rules, it wasn't his fight. That's the problem with using boxing rules to judge MMA fights, you aren't scoring the whole fight. While it was clear, at least to me, that Kim won the first round and the second round was clearly Brown, the third round was ultimately decided in the last minute. The problem with this is that Kim didn't do much work in the 2nd at all, and the third was only at the end. That cut, I believe, was the deciding factor. If we were watching this in Pride, I'd have to say that Matt Brown would have won.
