Basically without Ariza as well.
Enjoy your one and done Boston. Just a blip on the radar 20 years from now when NBA classic is showing the Lakers dynasty version 4.0.
Ariza playing like the next the Michael Cooper once again. Not only is he doing it on the defensive end but he's draining 3's with supreme confidence. Teams simply can't matchup with him when the Lakers are trotting all those weapons out there.
But the main thing is the Lakers are looking like one of the best defenses in the league. Bynum holding down the interior and Ariza causing havoc everywhere else and thats very thing they were missing in the finals.
tldr version: Hahah, no. 99-01 teams would destroy that 2004 that had no bench whatsoever, fat shaq, cancer payton, mug shot Kobe and one knee Malone. 04 would make it a series against the 2002 squad though.

Ray Allen game 1 , 8 pts 4 rebounds 2/9 shooting. Nice to see the big fail is working out again this season![]()
Can't blame them; this team is looking VERY POTENT so far but I do add this disclaimer: there are 80-90 games to go...the NBA season has barely begun however expect the Lakers to be there in the end.
Yup, a whole TWO games into the season.

Wasn't this mother er on the back of milk cartons for the following month after the Lakers got reamed the Finals?
No, not Ariza. It was Odom.
Ariza last 5 games:
17 pts, 5 boards, 2.8 steals on 64% shooting and 63% behind the arc.
Bend over NBA. It's going to be a long dynasty. And Bynum isn't even back yet.
Another bad contract for the lakers?![]()
Lets win the championship first before we get called a dynasty.
I was talking about 21_Blessings, not Ariza. Terrible Bosh slam, though. Even if I cared, you should've went with a RuPaul joke.
Backdoor in sweep!
We can't wait to see Ariza here in Portland on April 10th!![]()
That's true. We'll just see if we get a chance to play at Staples and then we'll take our chances.
To be honest, if I was a Lakers fan, I'd kind of hope Bynum wasn't playing. When he gets back, he's NOT going to be game ready. Odom is playing well, and Bynum may actually hinder the team if he gets back rusty.
We're definitely counting on Oden. He's actually playing very well. He gets completely screwed by the refs, but we can deal with that. With Oden and Przybilla manning the 5 we don't give up hardly any easy at the rack.
who the is hairston? seriously, who does he play for?
you'll be hearing him in a couple of years same numbers as ariza but just more bigger and stronger, they have the same hops
but one is in street clothes for the spurs and the other is in the starting lineup![]()
I see...if he's that good--or at least has that kind of potential--why doesn't Pop play him? It's not like their bench is lightin' the league on fire right now
Lakers en route to yet another back to back NBA championship (something the Spurs could never do) after Ariza is locked up in the off-season.
I tried to warn ya NBA.
Go Bruins.
