The Spurs will not win the championship this year with this team. Might as well develop the young guys. Come on Pop, out them in!

    The sky is falling.
It is to be frank. No perimeter defense, slow rotation, Batum is crazy, KT is slow, MB sucks, no bench scoring, team turnover,

Only TD and TP are playing well. Everything is going for the Blazers. Ok...Pop seems quite calm...so maybe he has some tricks

Only down by 6 with how poorly the spurs have played is surprising.

The spurs except for Duncan and Parker dont look like they have any energy. They are getting out quicked to every loose ball and are inferior athletically.

I don't know why Pop continues to build teams that are inferior athletically.

Mason needs to be more aggresive. Pops needs to play farmer and see what hill has. Duncan needs to start blocking some shots and get his ass on the boards!

I sure hope Ian can give us some inside D. Thomas and Bonner are worthless, Bowen yet to score, he is giving us nothing.

Come on Pops shake things up, bring back Watkins

BTW, Bowen looks done. Everytime I have seen him isolated against Roy, he is getting crossed over by the 3rd dribble. He is not helping on the boards or hitting 3's, so he is a straight liability on the floor. Give his minutes to Farmar, at least he is a threat to score on more spots of the floor than the 3 point corners...

    -Manu to come back.
-Potential in Farmer, Mahinmi, Hill and Tolliver
    -Duncan and Tony are jets
    -Oberto to come back

It's not that bad. Might not be playing our best, but it's game 2. Do you really think the FO care about Game 2 in the regular season as much as some on here are making out? It's not the end of the world.

Everyone was happy they signed Thomas.

Now you see why I said he was not any type of difference maker and not that good. He is as slow as a robot with bad batteries.

Pop needs to start Farmer out there with Mason in the second half.

Thought that will probably not happen.

I comment on valid points of poor performance by the Spurs...sorry I don't have the knee pads out for them like you do. If Hill is so ing injured, maybe he should be in street clothes instead of in his warm up getting splinters in his ass. Your takes are nothing special, get over yourself...

His name is FARMER. get the spelling right man.

I think Farmer can create his own shot on offense, but he needs court time to get comfortable and try some stuff out there. I think Farmer is a better creator than Mason. Mason is more of a shooter, but he's been in the NBA longer so he looks more comfortable out there.

    So when's Oberto coming back?

We should not have dumped Horry.
Horry couldn't score another 2 points if the ring was 10 feet wider. Having Horry now would not change a thing. Trust me.

Yeah, we should be down 12-15.

Unfortunately we missed the memo - the NBA is now an athlete's game, smarts aren't enough.

I bet we'd have those rebounds pulled down.

Too early in the season to tell if Bowen is done, but it's looking like he could be if he doesnt get it going soon.

Is Thomas hurt? I don't think I've ever seen him look this bad in a game. He looks horrible.

The scary realization is this team's only hope might be that Ian comes in and becomes a force in the block and on the boards defensively, and I'm wondering just how soft he is taking this long to come back from an ankle sprain, especially knowing the team is extremely short handed in the paint.

Jesus Christ! That was a mess.

As for Nicolas Batum...My goodness. 19 year old, 6'8, with mad hops. I really do think the Spurs are in some trouble, and not just in this game. They really do look a step slow.

As for Duncan and Parker. Just absoutely TREMENDOUS. The Spurs are being carried by two of the greatest in the league.
This Batum kid looks amazing we might want to offer the Blazers Artest is we can get this kid back in a Rocket uniform. How many Spanish guards to the Blazers have? All they need is a Gasol brother and they are the Spanish national team.

Yeah but I thought he would give us more than this I mean come one give us 12 good mins, did he gain weight over the summer, no lift on his shot, no rotation......you dont have to be quick to be in good defensive position he has been around a long time he should be a step ahead, he just looks like he isnt in it.

his ass.......Move Bonner, Thomas and Bowen to the IR and lets get some guys who want it.

I comment on valid points of poor performance by the Spurs...
Where did I call you a moron for commenting on poor performances? My moron comment had to do with the fact you said Hill isn't good enough to play over Farmer when the fact that he's injured is why he hasn't played and then you go and spell Farmer wrong.

THAT'S why I called you a moron. Your lack of reading comprehension is just icing.

sorry I don't have the knee pads out for them like you do. If Hill is so ing injured, maybe he should be in street clothes instead of in his warm up getting splinters in his ass. Your takes are nothing special, get over yourself...

Duncan needs more support from Bonner and Thomas. IF Pop goes back to small bball, they going to get killed on the boards again.

    And the other options were???

There were none. I was happy to see him re-signed because there were no superior options. He will be more useful in the playoffs when the game slows down. Until then, time to get Ian on the court and give him some run.
