Here's a guy that claims he works for a polling firm that does internal polling for McCain.
You guys obviously won't believe any of this, nor do I expect you to...but it sounds about right to me.

Basically he says McCain is up on Obama in internal polling in New Jersey, Michigan and way way up in Pennsylvania....
He even says McCain is within 1 point in California.
You know why it sounds right to me? Because Obama didn't win any of those damn states in the primary...that's why.
This is what happens when you give the nomination to a guy incapable of winning any major blue states in the primary.
I bet Obama doesn't have voter fraud in place for places like NJ....and that's why I always felt pretty good making my prediction of a McCain landslide, because not even the planned voter fraud would prevent the asskicking he's going to get in this election.
So let me get this straight whott, according to McCain's internal polling, he's within 1 point in California and yet, has decided not to visit the state to flip its 55 electoral votes. Not one visit at the end of the campaign to a state that has 55 electoral votes and is a dead heat?

    You're a moron.

Yep. This makes perfect sense for Whottt.

Plus, why would McCain waste his valuable campaign time in a state that's only a 1 point difference? That's well within what's easily overtaken by the massive voter fraud that McCain will employ.

Polls are inaccurate, unless they are McCain's internal polls, in which case they are absolute accurate predictors of what will happen. This position is also not inconsistant.

    As Whottt promotes his delusions...

With two days left until the presidential election, Barack Obama continues to lead John McCain by 13 points among likely voters, 54 percent to 41 percent, a new CBS News poll finds. The margin in the new poll, released Sunday, is identical to that in a CBS News poll released Saturday.

As the number of undecided voters has dwindled, so has the number that says their minds can still change. More than nine in 10 of each candidate’s voters now say they have made up their minds about who to vote for and are not likely to change. Just seven percent of Obama voters and 8 percent of McCain voters say they still might change their minds.

With two days to go, only 8 percent of likely voters are uncommitted – either they have not yet chosen a candidate, or their minds could still change. Nearly all of these uncommitted voters say they plan to vote.

Today’s uncommitted voters are mostly white, and more than half are age 45 or older. Just over half are men, and most live in the Midwest and South. Half describe themselves as moderate, and many are not partisan - four in 10 are independents.
    CBS News

According to the polls, this shouldn't even been close..

    You're a moron.
And are you so ing stupid that you think a last minute rally before 20k people is going to flip a state? Especially when there are others more flippable?

Here's what you need to realize :

#1. McCain himself said early on he believed Ca could be flipped, remember? I posted the article on this forum and we discussed the fact that there must be something in his internal polling indicating this. I didn't particularly agree with him. Nontheless...he did send Palin to do 2 rallies there, and 2 fund raisers.

Why in the do you think he did that? To waste precious time?

#2. He focused on states that his internal polling showed he was leading in...if these internal polls are right, it makes much more sense of him to focus on PA, where he has a huge lead, and is essentially all he needs to win, instead of what many consider to be the the most liberal state in the nation...which is a longshot, no matter the polling numbers.

#3. McCain did focus on some blue states, he went after MI, MIN, WI, and PA...oh yeah, and again, Palin did do 2 rallies in CA.

Why do you think Palin did 2 rallies in CA idiot?

The fact he hasn't taken any bets says a lot.
Yeah because unlike you, I am always afraid to make a bet.

Hey ...you said McCain would win...you ing bet him.

It's funny you talking about this when as far I know you have never made a vbookie bet, you don't ever play fantasy sports...

As far as I know I'm the only one you've ever bet with on this forum, you lost this bet and still whined like a pussy about it and I conceded it, tho I didn't have to, just to shut you up.

    You bet...

I don't want to bet on this.

She was in CA doing private fundraisers to make $$$. The rallies were an afterthought and not the main reason why she was in CA.

Are you so ing stupid as to believe a caller to a radio show who claims to be an insider over every other ing poll in existence?

Didn't it strike you as odd that the guy refused to give the name of the company that conducted the poll?

So we have an anonymous caller to a radio show claiming that he is an insider and has information from a unnameable GOP pollster that completely contradicts every other reputable poll out there.

    Pardon me.....

    McCain within 2 in California?

    McCain winning New Jersey?

McCain winning Michigan, where he has already conceded?

    You are so ing gullible.

Anonymous callers to radio shows are the best sources of information.

No idiot...because internal pollsters almost never give their names or the companies they work for...including Obama's....often times, they can't.

Are you really that ing stupid?

So we have an anonymous caller to a radio show claiming that he is an insider and has information from a unnameable GOP pollster that completely contradicts every other reputable poll out there.
Yeap...and in past elections where the major polls were off bigtime that's exactly what happened then too...read a few pages back in the thread about the 1980 Presidential election.

Obama's internal polls have been scaring the out of him about Palin.

    Pardon me.....

    McCain within 2 in California?
    Actually, he was within 1.

    McCain winning New Jersey?
    Wouldn't surprise me at all....

McCain winning Michigan, where he has already conceded?
This one does make sense...as Manny has already posted, Obama has a strong ground game in MI and Acorn is strong there.

    You are so ing gullible.

You're the one that is gullible...you're the one bought and owned by the media...not I.

Again I'll point out the very corherent line of reasoning I used for why these numbers could easily be valid...

Because Obama didn't win any of these states in the primaries, he wasn't even on the ballot in MI for the primaries...

You are the stupid that thinks everyone is brainwashed party loyalist like yourself that will support any a party throws up there on the ballot...

Even when we have the entireity of US Presidential Election History hammering you over your stupid ing head that simply isn't the case.

No idiot...because internal pollsters almost never give their names or the companies they work for...including Obama's....often times, they can't.
You forgot to answer how that gives this guy more credibility than all the other polls combined.

Are you really that ing stupid?
    No, but you are.

Yeap...and in past elections where the major polls were off bigtime that's exactly what happened then too...read a few pages back in the thread about the 1980 Presidential election.
Actually, it only happened in only *ONE* election in the past, and under completely different conditions. At this point in time, if it would be the older election with the new candidates, McCain should be polling higher than Obama right now. He isn't.

Obama's internal polls have been scaring the out of him about Palin.
Polls actually have shown Palin taking away votes from McCain. That's how dumb that you love is.

    Actually, he was within 1.
    Wouldn't surprise me at all....
This one does make sense...as Manny has already posted, Obama has a strong ground game in MI and Acorn is strong there.
    CA is going blue.
    NJ is going blue.
    NY is going blue.
    MI is going blue.

    Get it?

You're the one that is gullible...you're the one bought and owned by the media...not I.
Not the M$M owns your soul argument again. Tell me, who are your sources? 'Joe the Blogger'? Your own first hand experience in a handful of cities in ONE state? Some unnamed dude on a YouTube video? GAFB.

Again I'll point out the very corherent line of reasoning I used for why these numbers could easily be valid...
Because Obama didn't win any of these states in the primaries, he wasn't even on the ballot in MI for the primaries...
Except they contradict every other single information out there, not to mention that not even McCain is giving them any more importance when they could hand him the election. If there's anything more incoherent than that, I don't know what is is.

Even when we have the entireity of US Presidential Election History hammering you over your stupid ing head that simply isn't the case.
The entirety of the US Presidential Election History is hammering over YOUR head... you actually brought the one and only exception, and you're clinging to that desperately... History is definitely not on your side.

RealClear is showing SD and AR going from Strong McCain to leaning McCain.

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epo...ama_vs_mccain/

Obviously this won't affect the electoral count, but it's an interesting shift that suggests McCain's support may be waning in some traditional GOP strongholds. I don't think this election is going to be close at all.

So will California be red, o lead pastor of the Church of Palin?
I doubt it...I mean c'mon dude, Obama is up by an average of 20 points in eveyr poll there.

But let's take a look at this objectively here base...

You need to realize something...McCain underpolled by 7 points in the California Primaries.

Obama overpolled by 10 points in the California Primaries.

California was expected to go to Obama in the Democratic Primary...Hillary won it by 10 points.

McCain only had a .3 lead in the polls in the Republican Primary...McCain won it by 7.7 points.

Take a look at the popular vote totals for the California Primary:

    Republican:

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epo...ote_count.html

    Democratic:

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epo...ote_count.html

The potential for an upset is there...depends on how many pissed off Hillary supporters go to McCain...or stay home.

Depends on how much Palin can get the California Republicans to turnout(something the CA GOP are claiming she will do more than anyone since Reagan, and there was a massive turnout for her rallies).

Depends on how the Jews and Hispanics go...

And oh yeah...it depends on how the Asians go, and I have a feeling that is going to be surprising to many.

What I do know is this...

I can guaran ingtee you Obama isn't going to win that state by 20 points as every poll is saying.

I'll predict a closer finish than Kerry and Bush had.

According to reports...the early vote totals are neck and neck between the Republicans and the Democrats...and I guarantee you more of those Democrats are going for McCain than those Republicans are going for Obama.
