If Pop wasnt going to play the er i don't know why the kept him. If you can't score 80 in a ing game get some scorers on the court.
I think it's the putrid team defense that has made Pop not play Farmer. If we weren't playing such bad defense then Farmer may be the only player on the team that can penetrate now that Parker it out for a while.

I still think we could use Farmer's offense, but i'd say Pop is trying to shore up the defense so he doesn't want to play him because of his lack of D.

Yes he should of. He earned it. The fact of the matter is Pop still hasn't really given Farmer good chances to let him get comfortable and show us what he can do.

I really liked his penetration and attacking in the Miami game. His D was not good, but he looked like the only player on the team that can get to the rack after Parker hurt his ankle earlier in the game.

Hill didn't penetrate at all last game. Can Hill do it? I wasn't very impressed at all with Hill against Milwaukee. All he did was dribble up the court and pass to Tim. Anyone can do that. Defensively he was good. On offense he sucked.

He was just tentative, he's showed in a couple games that he can drive, him, Mason, and Tolliver need some games to get used to the system, and they're all playing starters minutes, give them a week before you consider them(I know you only said Hill, but they're in the same boat) worthless. And don't throw a fit, I want Farmer to get a channce just as much as you do.

From what I saw of Hairston he was not close to Hill in that regard, athletically or for a nose for the ball or the basket.
Then I'm not sure what games you were watching, because I watched every game of summer league and preseason that was available to see, and he was better at all those things than Hill. He was the second or third leading rebounder and he had seven blocks in six games. Not many rookies dunk on Yao or stuff Tayshaun Prince in the post either.

Time will tell. Hopefully, in the end Hairston makes it on the team and does well, but I still see more promise in Hill.

Oh, clearly. I agree with you on that point, but George was a first round pick. Hairston could be a surprise, especially if he stays in shape and works to improve his game. I still think that he could help an undermanned team struggling to score right now with his defense and rebounding. When you want to score points, you still need a complete team, and that means role players, not just five scorers on the floor.

As I've said before, we may look back on this draft very fondly someday.
