True but the Suns were lucky to get to the 06 WCF with no Amare and going 7 games with both the Clippers and Lakers. They were by no means the favorites to win the West that year. I seem to recall the Mavs were the prohibitive favorites to win the Finals.

If that were the only reason then they wouldn't have done it. There's ample evidence that he can do what what he wants and get away with it.

Yeah, I highly doubt this one thing against Milwaukee suddenly opened the league's eyes to what a dumbass KG has been his entire career.
