What are guys that ran out of time.![]()
I was waiting for Peter Tosh what a sad story that was.

classy
Amy Winehouse
Jimi Hendrix.
'nuff said.
some of those tunes were recorded in the Gunter Hotel downtown.
I agree with you Viva. Cliff was bad ass but he was too raw. I wonder if he would have been able to handle the direction the band went.
Damn how did I forget this.......good one spurfect.
I would add Cobain to that list too. Nirvana was about to die before he pulled the trigger. Grohl is better off it happened. His talent was being held back in Nirvana.
The Notorious BIG
Selena
i never liked nirvana, but i've grown to appreciate their stuff. one thing i can say is that grohl is a great drummer. he's no technician, but man he's a freight train. he's on killing joke's 2003 release and it's the balls.
cliff wouldn't have allowed that direction. he would've slapped them.
I like Grohl better as a drummer than a frontman. His drums are probably the reason "Songs for the Dead" is my favorite QOTSA album.
AGREE!! I saw them on that tour and dave did some shows with them and I was hoping I would see that, but I didnt.
I added him like fourth post. You better not take credit for that one.![]()
We are talking about another list ash.........read up.
Phil Lynott
Mama Cass
Ritchie Valens
and all those already mentioned.
i've recently grown to appreciate thin lizzy. that black, irish, jew sure knows how to rock.
umm, no. the foo fighters blow ass, and he should have stayed parked behind the kit where he belongs. in utero was also my favorite. the band probably would have self destructed anyway though.
yeah i mean cliff ing rocked, but to say that the other bassists arent good is kinda biased. i mean all of them have been good.
he does rock teh drums. one of my fav drummers. i actually meant to buy a drum set but i forgot about that idea and bogyuht another guitar instaed. oh well.
dimebag darrell
not sure if youre going to count him but the lizard king, jim morrison.
The great Jimmie Rodgers. He recorded powerful music even while laying in his deathbed.

'Cause ain't nobody ever whipped the TB blues
I've got the TB blues
Gee, but the graveyard is a lonesome place
Lord, that old graveyard is a lonesome place
They put you on your back, throw that mud down in your face
I've got the TB blues"
Phil Lynott
Jon Nodveidt
