They need to just sit the big 3 for the rest of the game... they obviously are not up for playing tonight.

Spurs are not an elite team this year. I knew there was problems when they had trouble putting away the worst team in the league. It's not really all that surprising to see them getting killed by the quality ball clubs. Spurs are going to bs 5-8 vs .500 teams after tonight.

That's like the worst game in a while for the Big Three.

Check out their half time stats:

    Tony: 18:30 min, 1-10 FG, -12, 1 Reb, 1 Assist, 1 TO, 2 pts
    Tim: 15:51 min, 2-7 FG, -18, 4 Reb, 2 Assists, 5 pts
    Manu: 14:59 min, 2-7 FG, -10, 5 Reb, 0 Assists, 2 TO, 5pts

They ALL look exhausted. No energy at all.

I'm watching, and I agree they're playing like . But better now than Spring.

And they addressed the offensive draughts somewhat, Mason has firepower, so does Hill. The chemistry will be there, the RRT always solidifies it.

They're going to lose, they're going to have nights. But I believe they will come together at the right time. Venting is good, calling them out is good. Giving up on your team isn't my style. I'm a fan even when they play like this.

    I'm right there with you!

Pretty horrible half. TP/TD/Manu all three look like crap. Manu is forcing too much and Parker looks like he ran a 10K before tipoff. Hopefully Pop gives them in the locker room and we find some rhythm in the second half.

I'm done getting upset over games this time of year. If they're saving their energy for May and June, then I will too.

Well I just got home and what did I say yesterday about TP stinking it up.

Everyone jumped on me in that thread I started. LOL How is Tp doing tonight?

How is the defense doing tonight?

How is Michael Finley playing tonight? Is he getting a ton of minutes again?
if you keep bashing tony every single game he has, you'll be right sometimes, no doubt about it. enjoy it tonight.

They are having personal problems in the locker room. I suspect some jealous. Or maybe some players have heard they will be traded very soon, so the fire is off.
lol. You got some serious personal problems thinking the Spurs have personal problems. They never have, never will.

Signing Finley is good, name a better 3rd string SG. He won't get starter minutes anymore. This won't keep the team stagnant.

Only Hill and Mason look good so far.

Everyone else is missing open shots, forcing shots, turning it over, getting caught on screens, or mixing up defensive assignments.

They look rushed and confused out there.

    Who is giving up?

I'm trying to work out what's wrong, because 5 games ago they were clicking on all fronts.

    Looks to me like:
    (1) TP is sick or injured
    (2) Manu is forcing things
    (3) Timmy is getting swamped because of 1 and 2
    (4) a number of role players (Mason, Finley particularly) have lost their rhythm in their reduced roles
    (5) the whole team is tired from a road b2b.

Who cares about regular season blah blah blah.

But should you care that the Spurs keep doing the same thing that doesn't work? They are nothing but a shooting team.

Observation -- Hedo is a double digit scorer.

When Hedo's team is ahead by double digits, or behind by double digits, he's a scorer.

We were better in the last minutes with Tim in the bench. That's Amazing.
    Only down by 15!

now hope Pop sits TP too.He deserves it more than Tim.

Duncan has an excuse. He's fighting with Howard away in a back to back game

Spurs are pooped out from last night...they ain't winning tonight
So how exactly are the Spurs going to win a game if they are tired or "pooped" as you said? The Schedule is going to get a lot tougher with lots of road games and back to back games coming up in the next month or two. Every team plays a back to back. That's not good enough.

Are the Spurs just going to toss in the towel and lose all those games? That is NO EXCUSE whatsoever. If it's because of old age that is on Pop and the front office for not bringing more youth in. You can't use that as an excuse either.

I'm with ya'll, Us as fans didnt have to play last night get in at 3 a.m the next day and play a game at night as well. Every single guy on this team is not 20 years old. So of course being tired is going to be apart of the game. But dont blame just TD, just Fin, just Manu, just TP. THE WHOLE TEAM is sucking it up tonight. But for every bad game the Spurs have, they come back with 10 GREAT games as a whole, and us as a fan base of the Spurs have come to be really spoiled. We're not the damn Charlotte Bobcats or Oklahoma City Thunder. We are a damn championship caliber team and we all know it isnt a sprint, it is a marathon. We will be there in the end, we always are, and deep down no matter how pissed we all get about a game in December, we know where they'll be in the end where it counts, AT THE TOP. Believe.
