Thank you very much Kori, this person is clearly a jackass and doesnt know anything about the Spurs.
Final: Magic 90, Spurs 78
By Joe Alexander
The Spurs got behind early and never caught up in a 90-78 road loss to the Orlando Magic. The Spurs, who fell to the Hornets on Wednesday in New Orleans, dropped both games of a back-to-back.
Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 19 points and nine rebounds. Roger Mason Jr. and Manu Ginobili had 10 points each.
Orlando's Jameer Nelson had 24 points. Nelson had 21 points in the second half and seemingly scored anytime the Spurs started to get some momentum. Dwight Howard had 14 points and 13 rebounds.
FOURTH QUARTER
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich pulled his main players with three minutes over. It's done.
The Magic went on a 12-2 run to take an 83-67 lead. The Spurs look like they're out of gas.
The Spurs had cut the lead to six points when the Magic's Nelson resonded with baskets on back-to-back possessions. Orlando leads 75-65 with 6:19 left.
Howard went to the bench with 8:21 left after picking up his fifth foul. We'll see if Duncan can take advantage. The Spurs still have a lot of work to do with not a lot of time.
The Spurs made an 8-0 run on back-to-back 3-pointers by Ime Udoka and Mason and a pair of free throws by Duncan. That cut the Magic's lead to 69-60 with 9:08 left.
THIRD QUARTER
Duncan scored the Spurs' last eight points of the third quarter. The Magic's lead is slowly shrinking and they take a 65-52 advantage into the fourth quarter.
With three minutes left in the third quarter, no Spurs starter has scored 10 points yet. The Magic lead 63-46 and the Spurs need a burst soon if they want to get back into this.
Tony Parker completed a three-point play midway through the third quarter. Prior to that, he was 1 of 12 from the field.
Duncan made the first basket of the second half. The Magic took over from there. Nelson had four baskets in a 10-0 Orlando run and the Magic lead 54-31.
SECOND QUARTER
The Spurs shot 28 percent the first half and the Magic rolled to a 44-29 halftime lead.
Kurt Thomas had two baskets as the Spurs finished the half with a 6-0 run - not a huge deal but something to give them a little momentum at the break.
Howard is the first player in the game with 10 points. The Spurs are still in a fog on offense and the Magic lead 43-23.
This is getting ugly fast. The Magic are on an 11-1 run and lead 37-20.
The Spurs missed their first three shots of the second quarter before Mason hit two jump shots. The Magic lead 25-17.
The Spurs opened the second quarter with George Hill, Ginobili and Mason on the floor together - three players who call all play both point guard and shooting guard.
FIRST QUARTER
The Spurs' first quarter offense looked a little like it's fourth quarter offense from the night before. Orlando went on a 16-2 run to take a 19-13 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Spurs missed 15 of their first 20 shots.
The Magic went on a 9-0 run that included Howard's first two baskets of the game. They lead 12-9.
The Spurs are using tough defense to take a 7-3 lead over the Magic at the first timeout.
The Spurs got going on offense when Duncan hit a jumper off the glass on their first possession. Bonner, who struggled on Wednesday, hit a 3-pointer to put the Spurs up 5-0.
The Spurs played tight defense early, with the Magic missing their first five shots. Duncan was playing defense on Dwight Howard. Popovich often keeps Duncan off the other team's best big man early to keep him out of foul trouble.

Good job stopping all this rumor crap. Its people like him who give sports forums a bad name.
unless he does have an inside source.![]()
I don't know what to say. We look awful right now.
I don't know why TP is playing this bad. Is he still injured? Fatigued? His focus hasn't been there since the Dallas game. He's not playing smart at the point. Like Ruff said Mason makes 2 3's then he never saw the ball again for 9 possessions or so.
Hill should be getting more court time if Tony can't bring it for whatever reason. Time to shelve Michael and relegate him to limited minutes. Michael has to learn to contribute in limited minutes. Playing him the whole game isn't going to work out for us now or later.
They didn't run much yesterday, either.
As for the tiredness, sure they looked tired, I commented on that throughout the game, but then why not bench the tired guys (TP and Manu specifically) and go to Mason and Hill? Mason hit 2 3s to get the score back to 9, and then was ignored while TP and Manu made stupid plays for the next 10 possessions. Poor coaching IMHO.
Mason has a right to be very frustrated right now. TP and Manu are getting isos and screwing them up while he stands in the corner wondering WTF he's there for. He should be fed when he's hot.
Anyway, I'm out.
Still happy with my $100 at 21-1 though.![]()
Nothing like a little adversity to get the Spurstalk juices flowing again.
Seems like I've been talking to myself and arguing with Spurs-Addict mostly of late.
Also, if the Spurs can't get a veteran big I'd give Horry a call now before he's too out of shape. We really do need another big. Either a young athletic big or a veteran big that can defend the paint.
Absolutely.
Don't bother asking.
Well, she's right. You never say anything insightful or interesting, then laugh when "your" team loses.
Maybe you should take a long, hard look at yourself.
Spurs were tired from their half-hearted effort against NO, I guess that's a legitimate excuse. So shall we just pencil in L's for all the remaining back to backs?
Don't other teams in the NBA have to play back to backs? How do the other contenders fair in back to backs?
Parker looks bad.
Hes supposed to be the young gun of the Big 3 but he looks the most fatigued.
hmmmmm
dont know what to make of it.
Sued? lol lol You need to know the legal difference between a public figure and a private figure. About public ones, rumor-based sues are hearsay evidence, thus, not admissible on courts. So STFU. Public figures should sustain public fires.
If you have a back to back and make it in a midnight or 1am, that's one thing. But most teams who don't get to bed til 4am on gamedays don't play well.
We "Debate"![]()
Ask the last publication that got sued for making up/printing lies about Tony and Eva.
at least, Game thoughts will be easy for timvp tonight.
Tim: he sucked
Manu: he sucked
Tony: he SUCKED. yes, he DID.
Offense: it sucked
Defense: it sucked
Drive for five.
please add;POP SUCKED TOO
I dont really care if you think I dont say anything interested. I'm not here to entertain you. I can be all fake and be like awww the Spurs lose..how nice.
Have you ever heard of emotion? yeah try it sometime. I'm just emotional about what I care about.
One thing is false statements with bad intentions, and other thing is rumors, opinions and hearsay propaganda.
The game blog sucked too.
He tried at least...
Oh, the lies you are making up in this thread are definitely with bad intentions.
Here are some links for you guys to go post because SpursTalk isn't the place for making up lies about Spurs players' wives or personal lives:
