But you don't really need to know anything about credit. All you need to know is not to try to buy things without money! That was the main thing my parents taught me: no money, no buy!!

I just don't agree with the people who forever use ignorance as an excuse to fail.
Ignorance is a viable reason for failing/ falling short the first time, but not the second, third, and fourth.
Avoiding work and making excuses is a pattern of behavior I see way too often in my generation these days.

your right but you still have "those" parents who show their children that its ok to screw up 3 and 4 times. My mom did not offer any advice on the topic and I learned the hard way. I agree with you there is no excuse and they shouldn't be able to use ignorance but their parents start them on their path in life so the parents need to provide them with the proper info rather than what you need to know to barely get you through life.
