When Tony is the best option, he needs to take his. That is the case probably 95-97% of the time. BUT...Once they key on him (like they did tonight, by closing the lane and playing him tight), he needs to realize that and make a play for someone else.
Not every team can do this, but teams with strong interior D and good perimeter D have shown that Tony can be stopped.
As the season wears on, we are finding out that we have guys who can be trusted with the game on the line. When they take away our #1 (TP, without a doubt), our #1 has plenty of guys he can trust. Tonight TIM and MASE stepped up big, and saved our asses.
