    It is officially largest in the world. Seating capacity is not same as size. It is listed as world's biggest by Greek sports ministry, the builder (which builds NBA arenas), the Olympics committee and also even wikipedia if you must know.

    Also stadia.gr and the arena's own site and PAO's site.

    Largest free standing structure in the world.
