How about 1 F bomb per post....would you be able to do that?
Ill be honest today must be F word day. And we have a winning record this month. Wonder what would happen if we had a losing record?

Bruce has lost a step, however that 3pt corner shot is still consistent as ever. There are nights mason, finley and bonner can't throw a beach ball in the water. But no matter how bad the big 3 shooters are you always have bruce in the corner gauranteed to hit 75% of the time. Am i right or what?

That guy is taking 4 millions a year.(correct me if mistaken) Not the defender he was and no help on the offense. Only some good matches. Why not add him on the package Vaughn, Fab, Ime? It would help match the salaries and we could attract other teams with him in the package. And what could we get then? Your opinions..

you are mistaken! He is a great defender and a bonus with a couple of three from time to time (i dont know about his salary)

It would never happen. San antonio is a class team and organization. Sean elliott didn't really do to much in his last year with the spurs, however they kept him till he retired. David Robinsons numbers dropped big time in his last season. He went from like 14pts a game to 7 in 2003 season. Nevertheless trading Bowen is out of the question. Fab maybe, Vaughn maybe and Ime definitley. Those 3 as a package is OK. My question to you is who are we going to get for those 3 combined?

Tim, Manu, and bruce stay. for sure. I would be willing to trade parker, but the spurs would never do that. I know it sounds bad coming from a 16yr spurs fan, but hey we can do better with another point gaurd.

Get off your high horse, lady. Stop judging people (this poster, Boston Fans, Oakland Fans, this poster's momma and poppa, Manu for playing in the Olympics). Jesus spent all his life among those who needed him the most: criminals and pros utes, killers, liars and thieves, and some of them probably cursed in his presence. He didn't come in judgment of them...so how do you feel so en led?

It's people like you that spoil the message and the church.

How to turn a clueless "trade Bowen" thread into a "trade tony" one.
Spurs should have kept Speedy and Beno, right...

    I love TP's haters.

Anyway, mrspurs idea of cutting down the " " posts is a good one. I'm not going to censor anyone, but sometimes you guys cuss just to cuss. There's times when it's fitting to cuss.. "Roger in' Mason for 3", "Ray Allen is a ing Pussy" etc, but every post doesn't have to be littered with it.

    Just a suggestion

that ! What's ing wrong with saying ? It's just a ing word, and very ing versatile at that. You can use in ing everything - from simple cursing to complex expressions of ed up emotions. Why do you ing people feel the need to with this one ing word. You all need to ing chill and maybe more.

    Oh, and - the censorship!

    Can play? Maybe.

    Has played? Occasionally.
doesn't change the fact that he can STILL be an elite defender.

Yeap he can play some defense but only for limited minutes and he is no at the level he once was. You can't deny it. We could just trade him for what we need most. A good C or a SF. This would benefit us . WE should do it when he is at his peak(now he is after it but anyway).
he's not at the level that he once was, but he's still an ELITE defender. What makes you say he can only sustain it for limited minutes? Where during the season has Bowen become "fatigued" during a game?

They put bruce on mehmet okur and he shut him down. He made mehmet remember that he was in a shooting slump. I couldn't believe bruce was on him and utah still refused to post him up, but I guess he has to go since he's not a shut down defender anymore. Heck pop may have him on the shelf to keep teams from inquiring on his availability before the trade deadline.

Come to your senses people. We still need Bruce for: Nash, Kobe, spot duty on Nowitzki, Stojakovic, Paul, Terry, (evidently Okur)etc etc

I said this for Manu, but it's even more important when it comes to Bowen..Bruce means a lot more to our team than he would to any other team, and it's been like that for years..he fits perfectly for this team..

Bowen at his peak was EASILY the best perimeter defender in the NBA..easily..so the fact that he's lost a step doesn't mean much, it just "lowers" him down to a top 5 perimeter defender, which he's clearly shown most of the time he's been on the court this season..I can't really think of many guys I would take ahead of him in that regard..Battier, Ariza(all-around D), Posey off the top of my head..

we're 10-1 when Bowen plays 25 minutes or more..

For all those who love to use the F word. Please continue to use it in this thread. Dont stop please. Once again. Please dont stop. With this one thread I can make this site better for me and my family. And Im sure it would help new people who have plans on joining one of the only Spurs sites that has alot of good things going on all the time.
That's wonderful. I can almost hear the birds chirping now......

Having said that, please quit wasting my time by posting about your moral crusade. If you're putting people on ignore, just do it already. No need to announce it. Thank you in advance.

I suppose another follow up question to ask is: Who has he played 25 or more minutes against?
