    The Spurs are better than last yr Twin Towers.....Bonner, Hill, Mason > Horry, Vaughn, Udoka. Plus, like xtreme said....a healthy Manu makes all the difference.

    I don't see how you can say anyone but the Lakers. It's not like they've been playing so well all season because of Bynum.

    Bynum is a HUGE factor. Other than Pau, they have really no other "big time" big man. Powell, Mihm are not going to do and can not do what Bynum can. Bynum can avg. 15-10, he even scored 42 2 weeks ago. Powell and Mihm sure as can not. And Bynum brings a 7 foot body in the paint to take up space and block shots. Powell and Mihm, can not.

    The addition of Bonner in the starting lineup has done miracles for SA. I think SA could easily take this smaller lineup of LA

    This time last year I don't think the Spurs could even hit 100 pts. I remember Manu was in Beastmode Dec-Jan but once he cooled down the droughts were atrocious.

    This Spurs team will be better than last year.

    Lakers in the West…But the East takes it again this year…
    (Like that was ever in doubt)…
    You are right. The East will take it. Either Boston or Orlando.

    Lakers. Last year they won the West without him they have some margin in the West.

    Now if they meet a healthy West team in the WCF it will be tough, after that I think boston / clev and even magic would be favorite.

    trade deadline plays a huge role......does John Salmons make either team better than the other? He's a huge improvement over either Walton or Finley.

    If I were a Spurs fan and I witnessed last year's playoffs, I'd trust Finley in a Laker's series about as much as I trust Barbosa in a Spur's series.

    I love this . Bynum was taking the most shots on this site all season. Now this suddenly opens it up for the rest of the West. Thoygh I agree, it's still funny.

    For many people here but not me. I always said Bynum was the real deal and he was one of the main reasons why the Lakers were better than San Antonio.

    Now, I KNOW if he stays out the Spurs are the favorites.

    The Lakers still have a better front line.

    Pau >>> Przybilla
    Odom = LA
    Mihm = Oden.

    The Lakers are still the favorite. Bynum wasn't a big part of their success.

    Now if Kobe or Pau went out, it'd be a different story.
