ROGER MASON JR. All that is needed to be said. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT TRADE THIS GUY. He has such big balls its amazing, its crazy. If not for his now FOUR game winners, he takes pressure off the Big 3 in clutch situations also, a big plus.
I did this real fast and had to used a filler photo until I get the pic I want but I have to go somewhere so maybe I'll add the correct photo later but you get the idea.

I like the size of the heart in that picture, but I think you should have used another organ...

That was definitely the plan. Even the commentators stated that Pop gave Mason the play instructions. You can see Mason as he's bringing the ball up he's talking with Pop of which play to run.
You bet. During the road trip I look for Bowens minutes to steadily increase to a level we will see in the playoffs (this game non withstanding of course).
Not the RMJr shot, but still a good picture:

Glen: you George, that's my Extra!
After he hit the shot, did anyone else look at the clock and notice there was still :20 left? And then after all the free throws and 3's did anyone else think time was going by really really really slow?

Who isn't open at 28'?
Where was Matt on that play?!
Yeah, uhh, I knew that [my bad]
Mason is the difference this year...... i see the Spurs winning it all.
Exactly.![]()

It was a play for Mason. But it wasn't a play for Mason to shoot a leaning three in a rush.![]()
Loved the shot! Because it came early in the shot clock the defense wasn't expecting it. Everyone was probably expecting a Manu iso to close the game.
Reminds me of how I felt when Elliott put that shot up against Portland.
I'm no doctor, but I would definitely say that that is not normal. I feel for the man when he has to sit down.![]()
He probably wasn't going to get a better look than that one right away.
I would've rather have had a post up or a pick and roll with the usual suspects.
But, whatever works is fine with me.
That was one of those shots where I went, what ? no time out ? huh Mason with the ball ? huh, wtf kind of shot was that , it went in !!!!! lol
Am I the only one that didn't freak with the shot? I didn't think it was that bad of a shot at all, and RMJ usually leans on his shots. I guess I've learned to live with him as more a quick jump shooter than a set shooter. Its not pretty like Finley's jumper, but its pretty damn deadly.
I don't think it was a "form" issue as much as it was a quick issue. You almost never see a team down by 1 take a shot that fast, let alone with no one set up. It was just a cold blooded moment from the guy making a statement. 9 out of 10 you are pissed, but it went in and I love the mind set.
You're not alone... I knew what Mason was going to do as soon as he got the ball, and when he took the shot I knew it was going in![]()
