As far as I know he is not even in Euroleague. He plays I think in a low level Italian club which is far from Euroleague level.
30 teams will have chance to play in it every year. Now is only 24.
As far as I know he is not even in Euroleague. He plays I think in a low level Italian club which is far from Euroleague level.
Pallacanestro Biella. Italian Serie A, I think? But he is still putting up good stats, albeit on what you say is not a good team.
that's why I said "on ice". Pop sent him to Italy like Don Vito sent Michael.
He's probably banging a named Apollonia right bout now
Childress is good role player for Olympiacos. He have same role he had in Hawks. He is to run on fast break and finish dunks and guard wing players. His average for season is 10 points and 5 rebounds. His defense is questionable thing though. In some games he is very good in defense and in others very poor.
He cannot score in half court or in one on one. His jump shooting is maybe worst in Euroleague for all wing players. He is maybe anywhere from 3rd to 9th best player on Olympiacos. He is though either 2nd or 3rd most athletic player on Olympiacos. He is similar in athletic ability to Printezis and only Pelekanos is more athletic player and better dunker on his team.
Pargo is capable in offense as outside shooter but is streaky. He is also solid in defense but not more than that. He is 5 points and 3 assists per game. He is probably 2nd best point guard on Olympiacos and also possibly anywhere from 3rd to 9th best player on that team.
You must understand this is very poor level. Childress would be able to get 20 and 5 in such club easily and is 10/5 type player in highest levels of Europe.
There is huge difference between playing in very small domestic clubs and playing in very big Euroleague clubs. Is like difference between NBDL and NBA.
Still going to be 24 teams. 8 teams get to fight it out to be a part of that 24, but to say it's expanding to 30 is misleading.
To me means 30 teams because that many will be allowed to advance. Is like argue there is only 16 NBA teams because only that many makes playoffs.
No, it's like saying that 30 teams play in the NBA playoffs because they all have a chance to play them.
And so does all 30 teams in Euroleague. All 30 teams can win championship of league. so how do 30 teams in league with chance to win =24 teams?
By your definition, you would have to include every team that plays in a national tournament where winning = qualifying for Euroleague, as well as every team in Eurocup.
So why not say Euroleague is expanding to 100 teams? Why not count up every team playing in a national tournament that has a chance to qualify? I'm eagerly anticipating your disagreement with that logic.
So now all NBDL teams that partner with NBA clubs are also part of NBA right?
U-Conn could whoop any of those Euro team's ass. Hasheem Thabeet would rape all those flopping pussies.
Nope, the NBDL teams have no chance of jumping leagues into the NBA. I'm talking about Euro teams that play in a tournament where winning = a spot in the big leagues.
Try again
which explain how NBA players is nothing but role players in Euroleague? Batiste is probably only American in good Euroleague club that is one of key players of team. All others are just role players same as they were in NBA.
Your own Brandon Jennings who is rated as top 8 player in his whole age group of USA and he is just 3rd best point guard on just his own Euroleague team and Arizona college team was begging to get him.
Yes you are smart.![]()
Nothing KBP? You didn't want another crack at it?
I'll check back later. Let me know what you come up with.
Any top 25 team would wipe their asses with any euroleague team.
Forgive Brandon Jennings for playing real men basketball his entire life and not being able to adjust to ot flop ball.
No ing way.
It'd actually be quite easy.
Winning does not = spot in Euroleague. Maccabi has not been win in Israel league and yet they are only Israel team in Euroleague.
dood shut the up. no one care about ure en euroleague. and if you argue that langdon is only the 4th best player in the league, you still LOSE because he cant even play for the clippers if he tried
4th or so best player on his TEAM not in the league.
On CSKA players better than him is
Siskauskas
Smodis
Lorbek
Morris
Khyrapa
Holden
Planinic
Zisis
After all these players Trajan is probably the next best one on CSKA in these days. However he is more important to the team winning than some of them probably because of his value as a shooter to his team and how he can spread the floor. What I mean to say was in all his years in CSKA he has probably never been more than at most 4th best player on his team. I did not mean 4th best player in Euroleague.
And also he is still a good role player. He would be able to play in NBA as 8 or 9 man in plenty of teams if he wanted to. And for your comment about Clippers, CSKA beat the Clippers by 19 points and Langdon had 17 points in the game when they played each other.
Please reread from your original post
I'll give you one more shot to convince me there are going to be 30 Euroleague teams. Please refer to the original article and make an attempt to understand what they are describing before you try. Thank you.
Given the fact that many of the original Euroleague clubs are playing in converted barns, it seems kind of risky to allow even less respectable organizations into the mix.
I mean, a 2500-year-old Greek outdoor amphitheatre would be an improvement in many ways over what they currently are probably working with.
