The more I think about this, the more I want it to happen. (Disclaimer: I'm a Chris Mihm fan.) I know a lot of you aren't very high on Mihm, but here's why I think it would be a good deal for the Spurs:

-He's been struggling with injuries the last couple years, but he's finally healthy. The last year when he was fully healthy (2005-06), he averaged 10.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game in 24.9 MPG, while shooting 50% from the field and 71.6% from the free throw line.

-He's been with the Lakers for a while, which means if anyone knows how to guard the Lakers big men, it's him, since he has guarded them in practice every single day.

-The trade costs the Spurs virtually nothing, giving up only Udoka and Vaughn (and maybe some cash).
Mihm stinks. Real smart trying to beat the lakers with their own players who can't even get in their playing rotation.

grizzlies also did a trade earlier this season with rockets, they sent their second rounder for Francis in order to help rockets clear a roster space and re-sign mutombo.

Whatever. If Mihm gets at least 20 mpg the rest of this year or next year, he'll average at least 8.5 ppg and 5 rpg, and I'll bump this thread when he does.
