    If you're absolutely committed to the scoreboard and standings, I think whottt's idea would work well, although I'd have the screen par ioned with an open area on the right for the scoreboard and standings board as you did before. I'd definitely go with the smaller, and not the full size version of the NBA.com scoreboard you used earlier in that case. The load times and memory needed are a negative for that design, but I think they're a better trade-off than having a Stern post in every thread (it looks a lot like the big ads that really turned me off at SR). Standings/Scores on the right that followed your scrolling would definitely be better IMO.

    -Color scheme - yay or nay?
    The black, blue, dark gray, and white is pretty slick. Great color scheme.

    -Speed - fast or slow?
    It's def fast for me right now.

    Much better on the color scheme now...isn't this the old Full Sport Press color scheme?

    The retro colors with the cutting edge board are a nice combo.
