Didn't you hate it when grown-ups and people with jobs started buying cards and making it tough for you? And then they stopped giving any bubble gum in the pack?

If those rookie cards ever do go up in price, maybe you can buy yourself a really cool skateboard.

You people want to use your 15 minutes of fame in my world class topic tossing 1990s lame insults go right ahead. But I know for a fact that the sports card industry have all kinds of connections with agents scouts team doctors etc... they have to know who is hurt, who is on drugs, who is going to be a star. They have to project who the next MJ or Larry bird will be.

If you really want to know who is going to make it in sports buy a Becket you will see how they break it down to a science. And that is why Tim Duncan cards have not gone up in price since 2000 they know you all can only dream about knowing. Like his knee ready to blow.

Instead of humiliating me and yourselves you should be great full with the rare time I spent sharing this info on this cheesy website. In fact you all should have your lips glued to your monitors right now as you pray to GOD for the once in a lifetime opportunity to toss my cyber salad and give me the props I so well deserve.

As a huge sports card collector in the 90s I often wondered why my Tim Duncan card never went up in value. Could it be the folks at Beckett knew something I didn't? The same with the Grant Hills.

I told you all many times Tim was just one good hit to the knee away from early retirement and you all told me to go to . I was not wishing bad Karma I was just keeping it real. It's time the spurs make a huge trade before you end up with another Chris Webber/Grant Hill type player next season.

Well now I know why the Tim Duncan rookie card has never gone up in Value

lol..you wish we'd make a trade...then your Mavs might ALMOST beat us more often.

The sports card industry values the cards based on the same thing that ESPN does...style over substance. That would be why you haven't seen much of a rise in his rookie card.

Not to mention the Vatican, the World Bank, and the Tri-Lateral Commission. Plus they have a guy channelling the spirit of Nostradamus. And most NBA teams keep Upper Deck on retainer for draft night.

You'll know that the second coming of Michael Jordan has occurred when you see foil prices going up worldwide. They will be buying it up for rookie cards.

I know this must be a very bitter pill for the folks in San Antonio to swallow but there comes a time when you have take your medicine.
Laker fans know this, guys...their #1 player(now) ran out their #1 player(Shaq), who won a championship after leaving...and the Lakers even missed the playoffs

    They recognize the signs...

What style did Honus Wagner have? The man was about as much fun as watching Shindlers list with SequSpur after the Spurs lose to the Mavs by 29 points.

And yet his card is worth $2.3 million

Cards go up in value due to Stats, how rare they are and records broken,

Cards go down in value due to drugs,(problems with the law) lack of performance such as (stats) and Injuries

    Drugs

    Lack of performance

    Injury

Tell me you're kidding. Maybe because the Honus card is 100 freaking years old. I'm sure in 90 years, the Timmy card will be worth a lot as well. And how do you know Honus didn't have style? Do you know anything about him? And seriously..let's be real..when was the last time SA lost to the pathetic Mavs by 29 points?

. Beckett obviously doesn't know about who is going to make it in sports b/c last time I checked Tim Duncan

The folks at the Beckett know if an injury is more serious than the public knows. The people at Upper Deck and Topps have a business to run they can't have a card go up in price if a player is not going to ever break any of MJ's records. The NBA is obligated to alert the card company's with privileged information. Go check the old Beckett's, you will see cards like Grant Hill Tim Duncan Ricky Williams and Ryan left drop in price months before the public knew of there situations.

It's not about collecting cards as much as it is about inside information. Would you rather find out a restaurant you eat at had problems with roaches from a restaurant card company, or wait until one of your friends finds a roach in his soup?

Mouse your brain is as small as your name suggests. I mean you don't even make any sense. Duncan has won 4 championships, ok not little league blue ribbons. Yet, now, today, well past a decade into his career you want me to believe that those sport card nostradamus monkeys knew this would happen?

Oh contrare, little mouse, in fact nothing but the contrary has happened. Duncan has won 4 championships despite his knee and surgery. That contradicts everything those monkeys thought back then (If in fact, they did "know something" that no one else knew as you suggest....

So, in fact, his card should be worth more, since he has beat the odds and actually won the Larry's! If it's not worth more, sorry pal, could you imagine how much Dirk's card is worth?? ...
