Well, I think that still won't matter because all the teams in the Big East and Big 10 conferences have automatic bids because they're the greatest schools ever.
And a Florida team that lost to the LSU squad A&M beat is currently a "lock" despite the #109 SOS and a 2-5 record vs. the RPI top 50.
Big 12 is deep enough, and has enough parity that 5-6 teams should receive bids, but I'm fearing that a 9-7 conf record and a win in the Big 12 tourney might leave the Ags snubbed. I just have this inkling that mediocre teams like Ohio State, Penn State, So Carolina, Florida will get in and the Big 12 will only get 4 teams in. The Pac-10 will also probably get around 5-6 just because they're required to put UCLA in every year, so as long as they keep tanking in Westwood, the number of bids the conference gets increases. I'm sure they'll just go ahead and put Arizona in and leave Arizona State out again, since that makes a lot of sense... and Myles Brand will find some way to put Indiana in there since he's the former president of the school and it will be his "make-a-wish."
Most corrupt, terrible governing body among all sports (except baseball, because no one cares except when teams make it to Omaha anyway).
