We beat you regularly, and continue to win les while you don't, and you actually think he's right? I know you're a fan, but seriously...anyone with a normal IQ would say that the Spurs are the better team. And when you say they're not, it would be OBVIOUS for us to bring up the championships. That's how you prove who the better team is. So don't get jealous and don't hate because we have them, but don't expect us to pretend our team hasn't won them, and get angry when we bring it up. Personally, I think BUMP's right -- a series contested 3 years ago between these teams is far more evidence of the Mavs' superiority than, say, the fact that the Spurs have 25 playoff wins since Game 7 of the 2006 WCSF while the Mavs have only 9.

For precisely the same reason, I'm absolutely sure that the Spurs playoff series win over the Sixers in 1979 made them "just a better team" than the Sixers 1983 champs (the fo-fo-fo gang).
