Boy, the Mavs sure try and get as much mileage as they can from that 2006 win. The real arrogance is believing that a one shot wonder season has somehow elevated you to the same status as a team that has actually won something.
the Mavs are honestly an embarrassment to the NBA..
choking a 2-0 lead in the finals, and basically losing to ONE man.. ing pathetic..can it get any lower? of course it can..they proved it the FOLLOWING year..losing to an 8th seed after a 67-win regular season LOL..
honestly..is any franchise more embarrassing than the Mavs? is it really possible to choke that hard in consecutive years?..

Don't forget the front office choke job that led them to panic and trade half their team (including a future all star) and two first round draft picks and their salary cap position for a 36 year point guard coming off microfacture surgury so they could counter the Shaq and Gasol trades.
History has been kind to us, and if it means we're winning it every odd year, I definitely would love to repeat history over and over again. If we have to whip some Mavs ass in the process, then so be it.
You guys had better pray the Spurs actually do make it past the Mavs, should they match up. If not - some of you jerkoffs are going to be ragged incessantly for months. BenJarvis, you ing re - this includes you and the rest of the newcomer, generic, cliche-loaded, Spurfan morons.
And let's ignore history. The teams are 2-2 against each other this season. Not much else to be said.
The year the Spurs swept the Cavs in the finals, they were 0-2 against them in the regular season and both were convincing wins for the Cavs. The regular season and the playoffs are two different animals. Spurs get it. Mavs are still learning it. Apparently.

I just wish nut puncher and barrea (at practice or even a game) would run into each other full speed, head first and their over-sized heads would explode. The world would be a better place.
NPT (Nut Puncher Terry) is always saying negative stuff about the Spurs to make himself feel better about being a mavie.
I get tired of all the crap that seeps out of the mavies organization. They should shut their pie holes until they actually accomplish something.
