We could be the first seed and lose in the first round with the way this team played tonight. I'm glad the Spurs built a cushion this far into the season because they sure aren't playing like a second seed now...
chill
we lose to a team that dosen't have 3 good players
it happens we take games to light and lose
schedule looks decent the rest of the way

all i want is the damn 2nd seed i was caring about getting homecourt advantage from the magic and celtics jsut in case we play them in the finals but i guess that won't be the case if where going to win number 5 this year where going to have to do it on the road
we got the 2nd seed locked up anyway
noh remaining games are against playoff teams, and they have a nother texas triangle coming up...
We're going to get swept 4 zip in the 1st round no matter who we play It is that simple and it is a FACT!!!
We SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
^^
Man is right.
we'll thanks for feeding the troll
spurs will be aight it jsut got to get through pops head that he must work with a 10 man roatation and put bruce out there
Ya i agree...life sucks. Suicide seems like the only answer at this point. You go first..i'll go second.
This ass munch is trolling on every thread sitting at his computer with a gleeful smirk on his face all happy the Spurs lost. What a loser.![]()
Spurs should be able to hold onto the 2nd seed. The teams right behind them at 48-26 are both Denver and Houston.
The Spurs next 6 games are: vs. OKC, @ Indiana, @Cleveland, @ OKC, vs. Portland, and vs. Utah.
The Nuggets next 6 games are: vs. New York, vs. Utah, vs. Clippers, @ Minnesota, vs. OKC, and @ Lakers.
The Rockets next 6 games are: @ Phoenix, @ Lakers, vs. Portland, vs. Orlando, @ Sacramento, and @ Golden State.
Nah, I'm a lurker...you go first...I'll let you know if the 'SPLAT' looked good enough to put on film! he,he,he
When is this 'Don't Give A Crap' Spurs team going to start giving a crap? Damn, we SUCK...!!!!!

I just want someone to explain the math that says that the Rockets have clinched a playoff berth and we haven't, despite us holding a better record in the same Division.
Is there some weird tie-breaker voodoo that I'm missing here, or what?
I think I speak for most true fans here when I say the Spurs would be better off to not have bandwagoners like yourself cheering for our team, thanks. I hate when people say erroneous things like "we suck". How could someone who "sucked" be the second seed in a very compe ive Western Conference? I'm curious..
I wouldn't be too sure of that...the Spurs have been playing up and down all season, injuries not withstanding. I would've felt better if they pulled this game out...against a quality opponent...on the road.....but they've been having blips at home as well...last second losses to Celtics, Rockets....grrrr!![]()
Those losses were without one big piece to the puzzle, Manu. You saw the other night when the Clippers made a little mini-run, Manu was the man to stop all that. With him slowly but surely getting back into form, I feel good about the team. They'll be fine. Man up!![]()
spurs need to start blowing teams out b/c this close game bull is starting to piss me off for realz
Denver's cupcake schedule has to make them the favorites for the second seed. Hopefully they drop a few unexpected ones.
I have faith though it wavers and has quite a bit with the losses this year...I think some Spurs fans, including myself, are spoiled...we expect the Spurs to be clicking on all cylinders this time of the year........not sputtering. I realize injuries, specifically Ginobli's, and TD's tendinitis, play a big part for the inconsistent play. I hope this team starts to click by the time the playoffs roll around or else it will be a short stay for the Spurs. So until that time I'll try to be optomistic but cautious. Or I wish I could man up...but I'm a female so I'll woman up!!!![]()

Denver is up and down sometimes...so I wouldnt be surprised to see them drop some winnable games. The games against good teams left for them are Utah, LA, and Portland.
The Spurs have not a run and the momentum.
The Home-Record is terrible
We dont suck! how can you say that. It's still good, the next games are victories, i know it. Dont get negative now, we dont need bad karma right now.
Im happy the lakers lost yesterdayAy, laker lanny? :P
Of the teams behind the Spurs, two teams have a much easier remaining schedule:
Denver
Portland
Both are in the Northwest Division and both will be gunning to the end for that upper spot.
The Spurs really have to take care of the remaining schedule to keep #2 seed.
In the Southwest Division, the Rockets have a slightly easier remaining schedule and are 1 loss behind. Above all else, the Spurs have to stay ahead of the Rockets to at least keep a top 4 seed.
