When Pop has Mason, Finley, Bowen, Udoka, and Gooden on the court at the same time in the playoffs I want Gooden taking every shot, even if he is being triple teamed.

The offensive fluidity came to a breaknecking halt when Parker hit the bench. Not a good sign. It took Mason 15 seconds for his first two straight possessions just to get the ball into a spot to make something happen.

Agreed. If Parker and Duncan are both on the bench then Gooden on an isolation should be run about 80% of the time. The other 20% could be Mason off the screen or Thomas from the baseline.

Yeah, Mason didn't look very good as a PG so far. Boy, we really should have taken advantage of the fact that Carlisle had to bench Nowitzki. Instead, we let Bass (of all people!) take over the game. If we pull another "We're the Spurs and we traditionally suck in third quarters", we're in for a long night.

More Gooden and Duncan together is a very good thing. Pop needs to find a way to have at least one of these two guys on the floor at all times if possible. Thomas can spell a few minutes here and there, and Bonner can get aquainted with Mr. Pine for the time being.

Dallas is leading because they were smart and made the change to start the second half..Spurs went back to their beginning lineup with Bonner...didn't work then..won't work now.
