Where's the Bonner thread....
if it's not obvious to you that the guy is a grade A moron after this game, you should never watch basketball again.
Where's the Bonner thread....
bonner, popo is the one who decides to play the scrub the entire fourth quarter.
He did make some mistakes this season.
Awesome coaching Pop...hey I know...let's put in Bonner for his awesome offense in crunch time along with his stellar defense...
What an original thread. Thanks for making this material that we haven't seen regurgitated 1300 times in the past 3 weeks!
George Hill's play in this game confirms that Pop was dead wrong in the two related moves he made as the season wound down:
1. Sitting Hill, and losing out on his defense and ability to penetrate
2. Playing Mason as back-up PG, essentially ruining his game (spot-up shooting) that was so effective early in the season
This, more than Matt Bonner's play, has been the most instrumental in the pathetic play of the supporting cast.
LOL @ POP at the Mason/Hill debacle.![]()
I agree with this so much. They were playing so well early in the season and then Popovich tried to fix what wasn't broken.
We should bann your ass. You act like Spurs is your life. Chill.
Fantastic overreaction.
Pop made a call you didn't like. The depleted Spurs are going to lose in the first round. Therefore you throw out all of the success of the past 10 years and call Pop a moron.
Flawless logic.
this. x1000
It will never happen. Pop will be here as long as Duncan is. Along with the Tim and Manu injury, he was the single worst thing to happen to their playoff hopes. His for brains coaching seemingly came out of left field too, which is just so weird. I'm afraid that it might carry over into Duncan's remaning seasons, which would be such a shame.
Yeah let's get terry porter.../Sarcasm
WHOA WHOA WHOA! Are you saying that humans aren't immune to mistakes? WHAT THE ? I could have sworn Pop was perfect! IN FIRE HIS IMPERFECT ASS!!!
