don't forget the frontrunning LA celebs who infest Staples whenever the Lakers are playing well but are nowhere to be seen if they're struggling. This includes celebs who rep other hometowns hardcore and even own pieces of OTHER franchises. I'm looking at you, Jay-Z.
You know..when this Houston/LA series first started, I was cheering for LA because of a horrible Rockets fan (not on this board) and I hated Artest at the time. During this series, I gained respect for Ron Ron, and also, had a REAL bad taste in my mouth for cheering for LA. Changed my allegiances after Game 2.
I don't know, the nuggets look good, but LA has homecourt so that should be enough to guarantee them advancing. LA has been exposed as vulnerable to solid D, so if the cavs play good D and don't choke on O like Houston, they may have a chance. Problem with Cleveland though is their O is very one dimensional. Where LA has two primary points of attack with kobe and gasol.
It's kind of interesting when you look at it. Despite as good as LA and/or cleveland are, both have deficiencies that you didn't see say in last year's celtics and many other past champions.
With the way the Nuggets are playing I wouldn't count them out just yet. However a Lakers/Cavs finals sounds about right.
Remember when the Clippers made it further than the Lakers and all the sudden the celebs were at Clippers games? What year was that?
Because you're a self-hating Laker fan who likes to and whine when your team looked bad in the first round and game 1 of the second.

And the LA fans are frontrunners in general. Remember the Derek Fisher interview where he mentioned how the number of Lakers car flags grows with each round of the playoffs?
I hate the Lakers, but I guess I have some respect for the true LA fans who are there through thick and thin. I really can't stand the bandwaggoners who jump on when they are doing well and then claim to bleed purple and gold. That many of those are also celebs trying to cash in on the chance of some national TV airtime makes it even worse.
Phoenix ruined the celebs year that time around...
