The fact that he's SUCKING on the court isn't enough proof that he's not improving his skillset?

Do you have any credible sources here or just blowing smoke? I ask because everything i have read says hes very coachable and puts in a lot of time and that his at ude and work ethic are quite good.

The guy missed two months of play with a severe MCL tear, chill the out with the hate, I know you have nothing better to do but hate on the Lakers but seriously go watch your Spurs championship DVD's or something. Yes he is playing like , and a ton of that is cause he's scared to death of getting his knee raped again by a rapist going for a lay up. It's going to take him time to trust his knee and get used to playing in traffic again. Bynum sucks ass right now but having a ing field day because a 21 year old playoff newbie fresh off a serious knee injury is struggling is more pathetic then the guys play itself. Now respond with your ignorant hate..
The way I remember it this season, Bynum sucked in November, got better in December, and was dominating by January. 42 point game, etc... I think he needs a month to get into his flow. Until then he won't be much of a factor.
In terms of bench press, its normally harder for guys with long arms. Dwight has massive shoulders and ripped arms, but hes still physically lean and long. I think there would be quite a few guys in the league who could bench more than Dwight. Shorter, stockier guys like a LeBron, or a Shannon Brown even.

If you see that, most cases its guys under 6'8" with stocky builds who dominate the bench press.
When the Rockets are without a center and the up-coming "best center" of the league can't even score a point and grab more than two rebounds something is wrong.
Bottomline is, he is arrogant and is getting whats coming to him. He claimed he wanted Yao in the series, but so far has done nothing against him that showed Bynum was determined. If Bynum is not ready, he should prepare. The intensity in playoffs is a few times higher than regular season, but Bynum at his young age probably thinks he can easily stomp over the series.
One can still make the arguement with Bynum's age, but it only works so much. If he keeps getting hurt and misses the playoffs or plays horribly for the playoffs, whats the point? Regular seasons don't mean anything, Playoffs get you somewhere. You can have 20 wins more than another team in the regular season but they can still beat you in 7 games or less.
this. Lakerfan, you hyped him, now pay him.![]()
You people are so stupid.
The kid is just coming off a ing MCL tear in the middle of the playoffs.
It's funny how you haters are nowhere to be found when the kid is actually playing well, but come out when he's obviously hurting and not in 100% physical shape.
Simply put you don't put up the numbers Bynum has if you are a bust. DPG is the only person here with ANY sense.
AMEN.
Spur fan go take up fly fishing or something. Find better ways to vent your anger after losing to _allas.
iirc you were the doctor sayin that he would be ready 4 the playoffs
Funny how YOU'RE relatively quiet and not starting 5 threads per minute after this game.
You are beyond hypocrite.
If he's not 100%, why the are the Lakers playing him? Do they really need the 2 rebounds that badly that they're putting a 21 year-olds health on the line? What if he overdoes it and re-injures himself?
I already said he's got potential down the road. Did you not read that? But why would you even give him minutes when he's playing like this?
This is true. Dwight could only bench 185 coming into the NBA. He's put on a lot of muscle since entering but his lank prevents him from ever benching a ton. A bulkier big man with shorter arms and probably less athleticism Eric Dampier or Kurt Thomas would be able to out bench him.
Is Bynum back? looks like it
he's just warming up, if the snow ball keeps rolling...it'll get bigger, stronger...faster...
It's definitely a Bynum sighting
Bynum got set up by his teammates early and got a few dunks, that's why he had a good game, he needs to get going early. Hope he keeps his play up!
Why do you people talk bout bynum when joe smith is getting paid 10 million thats what we should be discussing
Damn that Bynum kid....what a bust.
I mean 14 pts. 8 rebounds, on 6 shots? Useless.
If bynum gives us what we got tonight we gonna be nothing nice to deal with...
I think we should of waited after this year to sign him maybe we get a discount due to his injury but i do think he will 20 10 center in the NBA ...I dont see Kareem or shaq type numbers even after Kobe is gone but if he adds 2 blocks and a steal i would take that plus he will hit at least 75% of his FT's
rockets have no center. they don't even have mutombo anymore.
Wow, against a team with it's two starting centers done for the year. Go Bynum! This is a breakout game for him! It must be tough to find a guy who will grab 8 boards and draw some fouls for $14,000,000 a year.![]()
It must be tough to spend your entire life hating a team that will forever own you in the post season.
14 rings !
+1
100@ lakers fans.... the bust wanted Yao and he FAILED.... now that Yao is gone and no Mutombo... dude makes a couple of dunks on some guards and the fakers fan base is all exited....

(The art of sarcasm at it's best)![]()
