I'm glad the Nuggets aren't my team, They lost without any dignity

The Thuggets don't deserve the fans they have in their stands.

Let's have some perspective, Lakers fan.

The Spurs went out in the first round of playoffs for the first time in 9 years. The Lakers had a couple of first round flameouts in the middle of the decade. It does happen!!
Yea they did, but the two franchises have obviously been going in different directions the last two years. Lakes have plenty of youth and should be serious championship contenders for the next 3-5 years. Spurs are clearly going the other way and though might be just basic contenders don't have the youth, depth, or height. Pains me to say that, but its true. I just hope to God lakers get knocked by the cavs/magic but I doubt that happens.

    Yeah, but the Dallas Mavericks?

    And your point????

The first time in 9 years!!

I guess you keep missing that fact.

I know facts don't matter....it's all about subjective truth!!!

Why does Phil take SB out? He should let him have some more playing time.

I would agree with your analysis.

    Nothing lasts forever.

But, 21 Blessings keeps missing (or is in denial) that the first time in 9 years the Spurs went out in the first round. I could see if they had a few first round flame outs in a row. But, no that didn't happen!!!

    Again, it's still called perspective!!

How long before Kobe starts slowing down? He's got a lot of miles on him. 3-5 yrs. from now he won't be a world beater.

The Spurs were the 3 seed and had Tony Parker and Tim Duncan. The Lakers flared out as the 8/7 seed with Smush Parker and Kwame Brown starting.
lol anyone that actually watched the NBA instead of the Lakers only this season knows that seeds 2-7 were pretty much equal and the only difference being home court advantage.

Manu also played half a season with us. If he did not play at all then the Spurs probably would not have finished anywhere near 3rd and maybe not have even made the playoffs. Sure we had Tony and Tim in the playoffs, but the rest of the team was not very good at all. Tim was definitely not even close to 100% either.

Your take is beyond pathetic. Do you actually want to bring something decent or are you going to just be happy the Lakers made the finals .

Kobe Bryant is a y ass son of a ...I hope the Magic or Cavs spank that ass in the Finals. It would be fun to watch him fail AGAIN.
Yeah... Im sure as he drives to his Newport beach home, puts the bently away, tucks the kids in, tosses his weekly check of about 800,000 on desk, thinks about being back in the finals where he has won 3 times, his very next thought is what a failure he's become.

Credit the Lakers for stepping up. They present a lot of match up problems for most teams, but the Nuggets are more vulnerable than most. They still could have won the series, but they waste too many possessions with poor shot choices and are pretty soft up front. Nobody is going to outscore the Lakers. You have to be physical with them and slow it down. While the Nuggets have the personnel, they didn't have the discipline to carry out this strategy. They also got hardly any statistical advantage at the point guard position. You have to make the Lakers pay here to have any chance. I don't think the Cavs, or Magic have any better chance.

lol I guess it was the right move trading Billups then huh?

Like I said earlier in the series I would take Tony Parker over Billups any day of the week.
