If you ever attend the ballpark after May and your afraid of the heat and sun your are best to get seats on the 1st base side as sun wont be a factor for you.

I would hate if the Rangers got a retractable roof...it makes the ballparks look like arenas. I'm with the group that baseball is to be played outdoors
A reason why some teams dont get roofs is because they add a ton more in costs and its hard enough to get financing for alot of these stadiums

The ballpark is nice. They probably regret the decision not to build a roof even though it was built at a time when retractable roofs were not popular. MLB ballparks do NOT belong in the boring ass suburbs. Especially ty Arlington. Arlington. Have I mentioned that I hate Arlington.

Neither of those clubs experience the type of heat the Rangers experience in July and August so it's Apples to Oranges. The only reason why there is a retractable roof in Houston is because of the heat. Tampa may do the same thing. It's just as humid there as well. Texas will never get the type of pitchers because of the heat. In fact, no MLB team experiences the type of heat that Texas experiences in August. And Phoenix has a retractable roof for a reason. They don't count.
