Absolutely the best movie of last decade is the classic movie known as "Monster's ball" starring not one or two, but three Oscar winners in Billy Bob Thornton, Halle Berry and Heath Ledger.

My point was, they started a certain type of movie that was basically re-done 100 ing times yet people still see them (and somehow enjoy them each and every time). That's basically what Tyler Perry does, just with different people and a different time of year each time.

I LOL-ed when one of ya said 300, but honestly i watched it again tonight, that movies really good, and anyone who says its just about the visuals is a , i dont like that movie because the visuals, its a really cool movie about trusting and not leaving ur bros....anywhoo id say in no order last ten years
departed,matrix reloaded, 300, bourtne sepremacy, street kings, training day, gladiator, the beach (prob number 1 cuz no one makes a good adventure anymore), kill bill volume 1, batman begins and i guess we will go dramatic , ha, neverming, fight club and usual suspects are tied for ten

This is a great post. I think I've seen almost every movie on there and they are all fantastic. Props for mentioning Spirited Away -- that's a phenomenal film that's often overlooked. Children of Men is incredible as well.
Fight Club is my favorite movie since 1999. Simply perfect -- one of the few movies I've ever seen which actually exceed the novel.
WOW. I gotta add a new suggestion. I just saw Donnie Darko and it's ing amazing. If you haven't seen it you must.
