    i can hear it know....

KBP: its because of van gundy that greece players dont want to come over to america.

Oh, no... it's because of the ignorant jackass fans on SpursTalk that Bourousis decided not to come to the Spurs. Too many of them said that he wasn't the best center in the world, and he was just using the Spurs to get a better deal from Oly. Bourousis is sort of like Santa Clause - if you don't believe in him, he won't show up.

I wish I could say the same for Kill_Bill_Pana.

I think it's more that signs have shown that the Spurs are on the Decline. We just are not the team to be like we once were.

There was not a player in the league that didn't want to play with Timmy when he was in his prime.

Yea, but even then Jason Kidd had his chance with the Spurs and he spurned them in the end. He blew it, now he isn't gonna win .

Bourousis didn't come to the Spurs because he couldn't wait any longer on them. The NBA rules that they could not fax the contract until July 1 caused this. Olympiacos offered $16.8 million over 3 years and he had a deadline.

Barcelona offered $17.6 million over 3 years and also had a deadline. The deadline were before the Spurs could fax the contract under NBA rules so he stayed with Olympiacos. The reason he gave was that he asked the Spurs to promise him the contract would be there if he turned down Olympiacos and the answer they gave was that under NBA rules we cannot do that and we can just ask you to wait.

After that he went right to signing the Olympiacos contract.

Good job stupid NBA rules. DAMN IT!

Some of these NBA rules just don't make any sense when it comes to Euroball.

Please don't try and act like anything KPB posts is actually based on factual information. There's nothing wrong with a July 1st deadline...this is just a ridiculous excuse for KPB so he doesn't look like a re . And it's obviously way too late for that.

Yeah, blame the NBA because Bursitis didn't have the cajones to tell the Euro teams to hold up for ten days.

What did you expect? Greek basketball players are more familiar with having vaginas.

His answer is BS anyway. It's just a cop out because he was proven wrong on every level regarding Bourouseless.

The pivot of Greece signed a new three-year contract with the club of Piraeus for 4.8 million euros over three years. While both parties were negotiating, the Real Madrid have made an offer of $ 4 million over two years, but Yannis Bourousis (2.12 m, 25 years) has finally decided to remain faithful to Olympiakos.

The San Antonio Spurs and Cleveland Cavaliers were also interested in Bourousis.

You can pretend that there is a language barrier, but math works the same everywhere. If (as you claim) RM's alleged offer of 6.3M Euro is the equivalent of $17.6M, then Oly's contract of 4.8M Euro would be the equivalent of about $13.4M. Your boy never wanted to play anywhere but Greece, and you were always full of with your "inside information".

I went to the trouble of joining a couple of Euro basketball forums, to see what the real Oly fans had to say. It was pretty consistent. Virtually none of them think that Bursitis' conditioning would allow him to stand up to an 82 game season. Many of them laughed at the idea that he would come over here and get his ass kicked for 82 games, when he could stay there and play less than 30 games, for the same money. None of them were worried that another team was going to steal their best center.

All of which means that you made up a bunch of this, just to screw with people and get some attention - even it it's negative attention. Nobody is going to believe that timing is the reason Bursitis didn't come here. But you know that, don't you? Most people would be too embarassed to come back here and let people abuse them, but not you. You seem to need the abuse. I know you're smart enough to recognize that seeking out abuse is a mental health issue.

Do you ever think about what you are doing? Posting behind proxied IP addresses, and under different names, etc.? Cooking up these elaborate stories? Those aren't the acts of a basketball fan. There's something fundamentally wrong in your wiring. You really should consider getting some professional help - and I mean that sincerely. The longer you keep doing this, the worse you will feel.

Hey asshole you are wrong. 6 million euros is what he signed for NOT 4.8. Also the contract amount is NET. You fool. LEARN some damn facts, get some brains, and learn some damn manners already.

6 million euros net. NBA contracts are DOLLARS and are GROSS. You think Tim Duncan keeps all his 20 plus million NBA salary? You think he makes that? If you do you are an idiot. In Europe you keep ALL the contract. The amount listed for salary is after your taxes and agent fees are taken out of the contract. STFU and GTFO if you still refuse to act even half decent to others. NOOB.
