for those who have played a game or two, how was the experience? 12 mins to long or just right? pace of the game? etc? any and all criticism welcomed as long as you are one of the few who have played a game in our preseason.

i think my games were 11min.....a little long but still fun. I think maybe somewhere between 8-10 min would be ideal... besides that everything else was perfect

FLEX SCHEDULE REMINDER!
remember people, if you want to play someone in round 1 but they are in round 2, then you have to use the flex scheduling option.

to do so go to 2ksports.com, log in, proceed to our league site and under the tab "my team" there is a drop down menu with the option "edit schedule", click that. once you have clicked that option you will be redirected to your flex schedule page where you are able to switch up your schedule however you'd like.

ps: good game yogurt even though you handed me my ass & also good game szumi until your internet went out or whatever happened.

yeah i noticed the 11 min qtrs too. i must had adjusted the qtrs on accident because i could have sworn they were at 12 a piece.

here's my reasoning behind 12 min qtrs and whatnot. say you play 6-8 or even 10-11 mins a qtr, you just don't have adequate amount of time to foul anyone out. trying to foul someone out is one thing but using it to your advantage because someone is prone to fouling is another. if said person is constantly fouling you, you have a better chance of strategically planning said person's ejection from the game. in a shorter game you will just be slowed down because of fouls but never at an advantage because someone is prone to fouling.

shorter qtrs/games = slower game due to fouls/out of rhythm
longer qtrs/games = advantage over someone who is prone to fouling

plus i would just imagine if you're wanting to sim a league you'd want to sim the qtrs at no less then what they are, 12 minutes a piece. maybe i'm in the minority here?

as for the pace of the game, i thoroughly enjoyed it.
