I'd be interested to hear TIMVPs take-- btw, does anyone know if there are teams out there (besides Detroit) that have more to offer than the MLE?
I would take him in a heart beat. I think he would fit very well. People here are seriously underestimating his offense. This would not be a slight upgrade over Bonner, but a huge upgrade. Charlie V can score in all types of ways. He is very mobile and athletic and is a legit 6'11.
He has the tools and athleticism to be a good defender. He is still young and can learn. It would be a small risk and at the price the Spurs would get him at, it would make him very tradeable.

He is certainly down the list, but I wouldn't be unhappy with him. One thing is for sure...Bonner would need to go. They are way to redundant to keep on the same roster. If we were to sign CV, I think we would need to work out a S&T for Collison or some variation thereof.
I'd only consider this if Sheed and/or Dice sign elsewhere.
That's so strange...i thought the whole point of dumping RJ's salary was so that they could try to keep both CV and Sessions (although they thought they could keep only one)...what are they thinking?
I'm guessing Skiles hated Villanueva. Villy is like the anti-Skiles player.

Skiles seems to hate a lot of people.... and yet they draft Brandon Jennings, a kid that was caught cheating on the SATs, who seems to be doing a perfect impersonation of Stephon Marbury! It's nice to not be a Bucks fan...
He'd be great as a Bonner replacement. His QO was around 4.6 million. If we could sign him for that then find a way to move Bonner in a S&T for a physical big we would be in pretty good shape.

if Villanueva sign with the Cavs they gonna be very hard to beat.
Instead of going after Rasheed Wallace do you think we could sign Charlie V to the MLE and then throw a veterans minimum towards Rasho Nesterovic? Just something I was thinking of, I think Charlie V would be a great addition. Except, now with Blair it wouldn't be as good of an addition as it would have been 5 days ago.
