My point was that there are other serviceable bigs that could fill the c position for what the Spurs are lacking. It would be nice to be able to space the floor with Sheed on the offensive end, I just think that age might limit him against the young bigs in this league. I wouldn't be upset by any means if we land Wallace, I just think that there are other equally viable options just with different resulting styles of play at our 5. Y'know?

possible friendship with Duncan + starting spot + Gregg Popovich having a relationship/being similar to the only coach Wallace has been close with in the NBA vs. possible very close friendship with KG..

I remember last year, I checked my phone every 15 minutes..I remember the exact moment where I heard about the Maggette news, along with everything else..

this will be the same..

I expect disappointment though, since that's what usually comes with being a Spurs fan when it comes to "hyped" moves..we're always used to elevate other players..
