I bet the party couldn't call up McCain fast enough to monitor her while she was giving her speech. That's probably why it was a quick in and out affaire.
I respect her. Alaska needs a quitter.
So does America, for that matter.
America needs a quitter.
beat me to it.
(talking hamburger stifles a cough)
You're so...objective.
I wasn't trying to be objective in the least.
I was aiming at you
Are you ever?
I don't claim to be, so I don't know why that would bother you.
(burger mutters into his own armpit indistinctly)
That's good, because you aren't.
I just think it's stupid for you to dress up your bias with explanations when really, none are needed. Stupidity always bothers me...ask anyone.so I don't know why that would bother you.
How could we ever forget?
You are never done reminding us, profe.
A poor, uneducated hamburger such as myself never had a chance against you, profe, not even with *all* these tasty onion rings behind me.

I'm totally objective on it. If she wants to quit so be it, and if she doesn't so be that. I don't see what's so complicated about it.
The funny part is a bunch of people that never voted for her and likely never will because they're hardwired into a political party, acting like this in some way changes their opinion on her viability as President.
I mean who in the are you guys trying to convince? A bunch people that were never going to vote for her have pretty much worthless opinions on how this effects her candidacy.
You want the opinion of someone that would vote for her?
It doesn't.
She'll be relieved to hear that, since you have such a major influence on her decisionmaking.
Hey, I feel the same way!
So be it!
I'm objective!
Hey, you asked.
You trying to marginalize the opinion of people in here based upon who they would have voted for if ing laughable. Only people that would have voted for her are able to have informed opinions on what her future may be.
Right.
And the thought of you ever being objective with anything having to do with Palin is beyond laughable.
After your prediction making last fall Whottt, if anyone's opinion in this thread should be marginalized its you.
For good and for ill, Manny, it's an at-will forum.
whottt only marginalizes himself anyway with his over the top hostility.
i look at it this way...
Sarah could have finished her term and gone into the campaign trail trailing Mitt Romney in organizational dominance, since Romney has more versatility and leeway to travel all over the 48 states without there being ethics charges thrown or backlash at home.
Sarah would have come in the game with the same preparation she had when she was VP only with the fact that she finished one term as gov of alaska.
The governorship of alaska le didn't get her much in 08 nor will it get her much in 012. Her being in the governorship with a whole media, blogosphere, political party and legislature waiting for her to messup is a drag if she ever wants to brush up on her policy, organize coffers, and start laying out ground turf.
Her leaving the post gives her more flexibility to accomplish other things. Anything can happen now, and this is not the end for Sarah.
