Ive never seen any baseball movies, besides that movie about women playing the game when all the men were in WWII. A league of their own i guess it was called. I liked that one.![]()
Pride of The Yankees
Bull Durham
Bad News Bears (1977, not that crap with Billy Bob)
Field of Dreams
Major League

where the is the sandlot?
die.
Damn....you are right, I forgot the Sandlot. My bad.
Major League and Major League 2
Major League 3 was worse than Caddyshack 2
Major League 2 was a piece of .
For me it is Field of Dreams.
Major League
For love of the game.
The best movie about baseball is easily Bull Durham.
But my favorite baseball movie is the Natural.
Mr 3000 or Fever Pitch aren't up there?
I choose Bull Durham. Never seen Pride of the Yankees, though at the 4th of July game they recited part of it as part of the opening ceremony.
Mr3000 or Fever Pitch? I will pretend like you were joking.
What's the le of that baseball movie with Redford?
Mr. Baseball? 8 Men Out was pretty damn good too.
My favorite is The Sandlot. I still quote that movie today. Especially when saying "whatever".
Why wouldn't they just play the actual tape of Lou Gherig's speech?
Back to topic, For Love of the Game is one of my favorite baseball movies. I really hated Field of Dreams.
The Natural
Because the guy reciting it was not only a former Rangers player, but lost his dad to ALS. Had more impact that way.
61* is great too.
Of the choices given, I'd vote for Pride of the Yankees. I think Bull Durham and Field of Dreams are pretty overrated. And I'd put A League of Their Own up against any of them.
A Leage Of Their Own is the only thing Madonna ever participated in that was good.
61 was good but yeah for me its a tie between sandlot and major league.
Forgot The Natural too..
Ok, I suck at polls.
Not only those, but where the is Angels in the Outfield?
Two more that are more personal favorites than anything:
Long Gone with William Peterson from CSI and Bingo Long's Traveling All Stars with Billy Dee.
The Satchel Paige story with Lou Gossett Jr is another good one.
Never Look Back, I think it's called. Loved that movie. One movie that's underrated IMO is Little Big League. The baseball strategy is really good in it.
61*, Major League, Bull Durham in that order
I would say The Natural, but since it's not on there, I'm saying Field of Dreams...it's legendary...Second choice would be Major League.
