Ive never seen any baseball movies, besides that movie about women playing the game when all the men were in WWII. A league of their own i guess it was called. I liked that one.

Major League and Major League 2

Major League 3 was worse than Caddyshack 2

The best movie about baseball is easily Bull Durham.

But my favorite baseball movie is the Natural.

I choose Bull Durham. Never seen Pride of the Yankees, though at the 4th of July game they recited part of it as part of the opening ceremony.

Mr3000 or Fever Pitch? I will pretend like you were joking.

Mr. Baseball? 8 Men Out was pretty damn good too.

My favorite is The Sandlot. I still quote that movie today. Especially when saying "whatever".

Why wouldn't they just play the actual tape of Lou Gherig's speech?

Back to topic, For Love of the Game is one of my favorite baseball movies. I really hated Field of Dreams.

Because the guy reciting it was not only a former Rangers player, but lost his dad to ALS. Had more impact that way.

    61* is great too.

Of the choices given, I'd vote for Pride of the Yankees. I think Bull Durham and Field of Dreams are pretty overrated. And I'd put A League of Their Own up against any of them.

Two more that are more personal favorites than anything:

Long Gone with William Peterson from CSI and Bingo Long's Traveling All Stars with Billy Dee.

The Satchel Paige story with Lou Gossett Jr is another good one.

Never Look Back, I think it's called. Loved that movie. One movie that's underrated IMO is Little Big League. The baseball strategy is really good in it.

I would say The Natural, but since it's not on there, I'm saying Field of Dreams...it's legendary...Second choice would be Major League.
