you were talking about beating off to men beforehand.
did i type gayporn
question.
you were talking about beating off to men beforehand.
No need to because I'm not going to waste my time on such ignorance. Asking such a question is basically implying that they beat other teams with offenses that are of the same caliber as the Lakers, just with less defense, which is clearly not the case at all. If there was any though process that went on inside your idiotic, lamebrained skulls, you would have been able to answer that yourselves.
The mavs are going to be a dangerous wild-card. Darkhorse to a championship? Doubt they'll get that far, but they may with a little luck make the conference finals.
Contrary to what's been said in this thread, they aren't going to have an easy time if they happen to face the spurs again. The major problems the spurs have had with that team was keeping JHoward, Dirk and Barea in check, in that order. With Jefferson, McDyess, and George Hill (who hopefully will be playing the entire season, and not riding the pine for half of it) those 3 matchup nightmares are significantly neutralized.
The Kidd-Marion fast break tandem may provide some new problems, but the spurs should have plenty of new problems for the mavs as well.
I would put the mavs along with the nuggets and rockets in the 2nd tier of elite teams after the lakers, blazers and spurs. Dangerous enough to knock out a 1st tier team but not likely.

1 Jefferson can't guard Howard
2 No way in can McDyess guard Nowitzki
3 If you guys have to put arguably your most athletic player to neutralize a goofy elf then thats another plus for us as well
prove it
the real question, is prove that he CAN. he has always been known as a mediocre to crappy defender.
K fine,
Howard averaged 23 last year in the two games against Milwaukee, while outscoring Jefferson in both

link to where you heard this BS.
and Jefferson was guarding him what % of the time?
link to where you have reason to dispute otherwise.
Numbers like this are stupid, can you say that Jefferson guarded each other the whole night.. and like the Bucks played great team D anyway..
wtf? How am i supposed to know? I didn't tape and analyze every single game. You guys are the ones saying Jefferson can neutralize him, but when he played Jefferson's team he was 8 ppg higher than his career average.
Common sense says it was Jefferson though.
Starters for both teams
Dallas
Kidd
Wright
Howard
Dirk
Dampier
Milwaukee
Ridnour
Redd
Jefferson
Villanueva
Gadzuric
You really think they would put Michael Redd on him?![]()
I am not saying Jefferson can neutralize Howard. YOu said he can't guard Howard. I say he can do as good a job as any other spur has done.
and that's good enough, because offensively he is a HUGE improment.
why don't you guys wait until they play?
isn't this a contract year for howard? if he plays out of his mind this year, i'm gonna puke.
WC power rankings IMO-
1-Lakers
2-Spurs
3-Nuggets
4-Blazers
5-Jazz
6-Mavs
7-Rockets
8-Hornets
So no, I don't think the Mavs have much of a chance.
and a big decline defensively. Bruce >>>>>>>>> Jefferson on defense and hustle
not to mention no one is going to be scared less of that corner three. you guys are going to miss that more than you think.
there might not be a more feared shot by the spurs than that corner three. in fact, i dont think there is a shot that i have ever feared as much as that corner three by Bruce. everytime he shot it, i thought it was good. it was about as reliable as Jordan in the clutch.
your opinion has about the same amount of logic as a steamy pile of
so no, i dont think your opinion on the mavs chances matters much.
you obviously havent watched basketball in a couple of years. Bruce is done and last year he didnt even get much playing time vs. Mavs.
Not to mention Jefferson is deadly from anywhere behind the arc, moreso than Bowen.
FAIL
How the are the Jazz up there?
IMO the Mavs, Blazers, nugs, Spurs and Lakers are the clear cut top 5 Western teams that are all playoff locks.
his team defense >>> jeffersons defense
1-on-1, sure he wasnt as effective
but he knew his place in the system well
and as said, the corner three... thats going to be missed by the spurs, and not missed at all by opposing teams. makes it a LOT easier to crowd the lane for guys like Jefferson, Manu and Parker slashing.
If the new guys in their system click well and the team peaks at the right time, I'd say the Mavs have as good a shot as anybody next season. Considering that a few other teams are the ones getting all the hype, it's probably not unreasonable to consider them a dark horse.
Um, not really. I mean if he gets hot, cool. But he isn't a guy that you can rely on to hit it consistently. He's definitely been a streaky shooter through his career.
