& 4 times you failed to repeat. I remember when we won it 2000. Holy Mother Mary & Joseph they started right in about 2000 not being legit unless we repeated, and then when we repeated they started back in, albeit with a little less conviction that unless we tripled then the single and the double would not really count. Well, I need not rub your nose into our triple in order to make my point.

Until you go back-to-back yer basically shinin' our shoes, and yer less than quality. I don't wish to hurt yer feelings, but, it has to be this way.

I'll take what my team has done to the bank in perpetuity and be eternally grateful for such a wonderful run. 2004 and 2006 hurt, but that's sports.

Just curious, do laker fans feel that the spurs have a bad team? Because it can be argued the spurs as a team sucks, their only getting by with a few BS ref calls and etc...

BUT for being such a crap team, they've done well for themselves winning a couple of championship.

I mean when was the last time you've heard people clamoring that the spurs are a lock for the championship, other than spurs fans of course.

YET, you will hear lots of people, not just LA journalist and laker fans, saying LA will win the ship or repeat or what not. Basically, based on laker and other fans words, if the lakers don't win a ring that year, they fell below expectations.

If the Lakers dont win a ring, they will definately fall below expectations. The Spurs arnt expected to win anymore cuz everytime they win a ring, everyone thinks they will win the following year but they prove everyone wrong. Noones falling for that anymore. Spurs win one year, lose the next.
