Meth is also a red-state drug. Predominately used by Caucasians. The word you were looking for was crack, but really, I don't think too many black crackheads, or white meth-heads, are making their way to the voting polls.

As a whole we've all become "fatter".

Of course as we age...there is the tendacy to gain a spare tire. I'm not sure if age statistics per state are taken into account but in the states you just mentioned...I'm sure there are more retired individuals than in the states that have less body fat.

Age was a deciding factor as well in the past election.
