I really liked what I saw out of Gooden. It's nice to actually have offense out of your center. And he did some decent hustle on the defensive end from what I saw, including a great block on D12.

The offense is going to be absolutely nasty when they have Marion and Howard on the floor as well. Rebounding is going to be sick too.

The offense is going to be solid but the defense should struggle. I am not sure how Kidd/JHo/Marion will do defensively and Gooden/Dirk are not ideally suited to play defense together.

The Mavs seem to have good size though overall. How do yall feel about Humphries?

Mavs lose at home, no surprises here.

Well considering we started Matt Carroll and Quinton Ross, I say it isnt a surprise.

Its kinda pathetic on Orlando's part that we were ahead most of the game tho.


Marion just set out because he had a sore calf, just a precautionary thing for the preseason.

The only thing I gathered from this game is that JJ Barea is so bad defensively that I don't even care about his playmaking abilities at the other end. I just want him off the court completely.
