Forbes.com reported that Iowa gymnast Shawn Johnson is the most liked sports figure in America — topping star-powered giants like golfer Tiger Woods, basketball player Tim Duncan and tennis sensation Rafael Nadal.
The poll, Forbes said, was produced by E-Poll Market research, “an Encino, Calif.-based research firm that tracks celebrity likability ratings.”
The survey included 1,100 people 13 years old and over, and “candidates were limited to active athletes, coaches or commentators with a minimum 10 percent awareness rating.”

I'm a Wake Forest alum, and I can't stand Chris Paul.
The minute that kid stepped in the NBA, his sense of en lement kicked in on the level of a K. Bryant. Why, I have no idea. Now he's completely incorrigible.
Exactly what I was thinking, Paul is a completely unlikable D-bag.... not the greatest list anyway tho. I can see Shawn Johnson and Fitz bein high. Tiger should be higher, but a lot of people do jealously hate on him. Same with Timmy. I like Federer much more than Nadal. No need for Robin Roberts... Steve Young is ok, but what about Favre or Manning? I personally know a few people who can't stand Kurt Warner, but I think they hate his wife more than they hate him. And Ty Murray is random, but ok with me.
That's all? All the comments he made for everyone else and Tim's is one sentence?

I like Chris Paul. He's one of the most exciting point guards I have ever seen. Putting on a Hornets game is like going back in a time warp and seeing Isiah.
Chris Paul ahead of Tim Duncan as a PERSON on that list is complete TRASH. Paul may be a pretty explosive point-guard but at the same time comes off as an arrogant prick/ , while TD is one of the nicest athletes in professional sports. What a crock...

Chris Paul likes Chris Paul.
I agree with you on the Nadal thing. I mean he's humble and nice off the court but his on-court demeanor kinda irks some people even though he's a genuinely nice guy. I think Federer is more liked than him cos he's not like most superstar athletes who think the world owes them what not. I actually checked in facebook the Federer and Nadal haters pages, there are actually more Nadal haters there. I mean yeah it's facebook but it still is a reflection of the reality in a sense.
Love Woods incredible game but he is simply is by all accounts a foul mouthed and very arrogant figure and just cannot make out the love for him. He does seem to be trying to be more more approachable etc. but golf experts say that is a work in progress. Guess money, a nice smile and a hot wife is enough.
Peyton Manning is a *&$hole by the way and when he wins mulitple championships (or Paul even wins one) they should even be considered for the list but except for a rare event Peyton is one of the biggest all time chokers and his strange gyrations at the line of scrimmage and his arrogance should put him not in the top 100 even.

I've hated Chris Paul ever since his nut-punching, "who me?" Wake days.
Actually, the problem I have with CP3 is that if anyone passes within 10 feet of him, either on offense or defense, and generates a mild breeze, he falls down as if poleaxed.
