I remember someone saying something about Phillies NL pitching being "too much" for either of the AL teams coming out of the ALCS.

    ...yeah, whoops...

So its known, I hate both teams and cities (and their fans). I dont care who wins because I lose as a hater no matter what.

Yankees just have too much offense, too many bats and seeing Pet e drive one in was classic. But all Philly needs to do is win tonight and all the shock and awe of game 3 goes away with a quickness.

There are a lot of Yankees who are easy to hate, but I really like Nick Swisher.
Swisher is awesome. He was a favorite here in the Bay area of both A's and Giants fans. Hate seeing him in pinstripes

I especially enjoyed watching his explosion out of the batter's box.

Phillies are done. This WS has sucked ass in my opinion. It could have been a compe ive back and forth WS but the Phillies have not shown up yet. It looks like the Phillies will just be the 2 time defending NL champs rather than the 2 time defending WS champs.

    explosion

More like "flailing kick start" with even a little bit of his heel kicking his own ass.

I don't understand why people hate the Yankees so much, sure I hate team, but if they are playing and my team is not I really don't care who win, I'd just wish they would all drop dead on the field.

Hope Yankees go in for the kill tonight, got to beat the Phillies

Yeah, having the most clutch closer in MLB history works against the Yanks.

After todays game, I can see the Phillies winning games 6 and 7. Yanks are up 3-2 due to their bats. At the end of the day, you need solid clutch pitching. The O will only get you so far. If the Yanks are to win this series, it will be due to their pitching. It doesn't matter if they are in New York or not. If the Yanks pitching can't get it together, they will lose this series. The bats can only get you so far. At the end of the day, you need solid clutch pitching. I am not sold on the Yanks having that.

I hope you're right, but I don't see them losing two straight games in New York, however, if they do, it'll be almost as awesome as the Red Sox winning it all seeing them choke so hard. If they blow a 3-1 series lead we can all expect a massive hangover the next season.

The last time the Yankees had a 3-2 lead in the WS, they blew it. Hopefully, it will happen again.

Worst case scenario for the Yanks is CC pitching in game 7.

Theyre winning it all. I mean, cmon, Burnette didnt even last 3 innings. See that happening with Pet te (never realized his name has 4 "t's")? Or Sabathia?

I think it was obvious once Burnette was pulled the Yanks were just looking to get back to New York as quickly as possible. They still made it semi-close with some good hitting, but just couldnt overcome the HUGE head start the Phils were given.

    BTW, Utley is the sheeeeeeeeeeet.

Utley is a beast, i dont know why but i think we will see a game 7, Andy Pet e pitching in 3 days rest, at his age is not good, but yankees offense could win the game

Andy Pet te pitching on 3 days rest makes me afraid, but Yanks only have one game to win and play at home so better chance. hopefully Yanks win tomorrow so all the Yankee haters can go cry
