I wonder, how does Peta feel about our Coyote macot? I am surprised they have not cited us for our mocking portryal and explotation of coyotes.

Your little link doesn't provide an escape route plan that's applicable to bat trapped in a crowded sports arena. So please, if you're going to post a link
Amanda, give us a relevant link.
How in the does the AT& T center provide the bat with the following:
Hey you're in an arena!!!! Not going to happen. In any encounter with a bat, stay calm and keep children and animals away.
o, it's an arena, and the walls are sloped and full of noise. If the bat is indoors, he or she will probably try to find an opening, taking a U-shaped flight path that is higher near the walls and lower toward the middle of the room, so when you are in a room with a bat, try to stay near a wall.
IT's AN ARENA, the doors are always open to the outside gathering areas but how can that bat find it when there are 18000 people yelling? After closing interior doors, create an escape route by opening a window or door to the outside.
No plants or clothes or upholstered furniture there. If the bat disappears before exiting, he or she may have landed on hanging clothes, behind curtains or upholstered furniture, or in a plant—anywhere where hanging is possible.
Did that, bat had a chance to fly low into a net. He didn't co-operate.Try to catch the bat in a net.
Sorry, can't do that in a crowded arena.Or cover him or her with a wide-mouthed jar or plastic tub and gently work a piece of cardboard between the container and the surface from which the bat is hanging.
SO again,Amanda, if you're going to give us a link and say this is how you handle a bat, give us one that works for the given situation. A bat in a house is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than a bat in a crowded sports arena.
Say, if that bat had bit an innocent, what would you have said then?
Whatever that Coyote is loved.

We had a bat in our warehouse once. It was swooping at people so I shot it with a bb gun. The greatest shot I ever made. We threw a box over it and fire ants cleaned it to a skeleton by the next morning.
That will help me sleep better--- NOT! {shudder}If the bat disappears before exiting, he or she may have landed on hanging clothes, behind curtains or upholstered furniture, or in a plant—anywhere where hanging is possible.
J/K. Your post was informative and helpful.
that had to be a joke, no way peta is that bat crazy. and i'm usually pretty supportive of them.
Sorry angel... thought it was hilarious...
I don't understand why ppl are surprised at this. It's fukcing PETA, they live for this
Should have read
All things considered, the scenario did not end that baldly.

I wish I had had that in time to submit it with my post!
I am tempted to post a pro bat comment under a different name just to confirm my opinion that PETA only allows comments that line up with their philosophy.
reports say that the bat flopped when manu touched it.
i think PETA's response was a bit rabid.
I wouldn't go as far as the article's writer but I didn't find what Manu did awesome, great or even funny. I find that quite stupid.
why???
smacking a bat down, in halloween, in front of 20+ thousand ppl, on the first try, while everyone else was running scared on a televised pro game = awesome, great and ing hilarious
lol PETA, they always blow everything out of proportion. Im an ardent animal rights supporter, but i would never send a dime to them. They get too hung up on farm animals and stupid like this
All bats are Laker fans. He got what he deserved.
+1
I really hate peta. I don't deny that they help out and look out for animals, but they can be ridiculous sometimes.
Wow... I hate PETA.
Now we'll get the Stern treatment because of PETA
