Look at the list of Organizations endorsing the House health care bill. No other president ever came even close to create such a coalition. This president is 100% right in his approach that most of the time it's better to compromise in order to achieve progress, than to take the all-or-nothing at ude that never lead to anything good. This will not be a perfect reform by any mean, but it'll be something worth at least 40 years of progress, and a terrific start to build on. Passing HCR and dealing with the unemployment, can pave the way to many-many years of Democrats governing America. It's time for some to take a step back and look at the big picture.

No, really?Young Democrats of America
What a stupid ing thread.
How many aren't unions, college groups, or George Soros run?
Do you have a link for this org? I found nothing in my own online search except Turkish-American and Chinese-American Doctors Ass'ns
You forgot to add people with an IQ over 95 in the against column.
They are decidedly absent from the four groups nbadan already listed in the against column, for sure.
lets put it this way
AARP is for Seniors
The GOP is for Health Insurance Companies
what is their to argue.
again it comes down to $$$$$ vs. people
I just don't understand how the GOP can trick so many people.
The only peopple AARP is interested in is the ones running the DNC. The actual members of the aarp did not endorse communist healthcare, just the buerocratic aarp leadership
so when was the last time the AARP "leadership" endorsed something that would HARM their members?
what a dork you are.
here is another way to look at it.
6 health insurance companies have an anti-trust exemption = fascism
public-option = socialism
at least the public option helps the people
I guess you people that don't want the public option are ing nazi's and don't even know you are defending fascism what ing morons.
Companies cannot be fascist. Public option doesn't help cancer patients.
Trying to "control healthcare costs" and the bill has THAT MANY doctor's groups backing it?
What would you think of Tobacco regulations that had the support of RJ Reynolds, or gun laws that had the backing of Smith and Wesson?
Dupe.
Still no link to any of these legitimate groups endorsing public option.
How completely not surprising that the normal blue team puppets are for this. Great thread.
EVERYONE is FOR some sort of heath care reform. Some of us are just against a full government takeover and susequent upance.
Exactly. Spending trillions of dollars on another government bureaucracy isn't going to solve this problem.
head
companies that get special treatment from the government is the very definition of fascism are you a complete dumbass or what.
You are the dumbass that is blaming a co.
Companies are supposed to make a profit. If buying a lobbyist to give them special priviledge gives them a better profit-good for them. It is the govt. screwing the people, not the co. If the problem is our elected officials are abusing their power, why give them more?
“The most basic question is not what is best, but who shall decide what is best” Thomas Sowell
Right. A decade from now we'll be having the same exact "public debate" about this. When policy is shaped by "stakeholders" then you end up not addressing the problem, but rather doubling down on the current arrangement.
Instead of questioning why virtually all individual medical expenditures are paid in part or full through third party payers or why health insurance is typically tied to employment, those matters are taken as a given.
This plan isn't so much pure "socialism" as it is corporatism, though achieved by extending the existing socialistic arrangements in place. Of course, there was no socialism, but rather laissez faire tranquility, in place prior to January of 2009.
Any word on the American Doctors Association, SnC?
Those lists are actually counter-productive. You know they had to give up something that screws consumers to each one on that list. The longer the list, the worse it is.
...then they have to spread pork to get the votes.....
ain't democracy grand?
lol at people incapable of seeing the big picture laughing their asses off at how the gop is apparently able to "trick so many people".
