Son with the exception of assists, you could say that for EVERY wing compared to a big man. typically, big men grab more rebounds and shoot a higher % than guards. Josh actually had defense back then, and that alone puts him ahead of David "i like to shoot the ball, but i dont like to defend it" West

I am not a fan. That "system" and Chris Paul jacked his stats up. When you think of legitimate 20/10 players he never should come into our mind.
He is a very solid player. All Star? I would have chosen some players above him.
He is really overrated. Solid player, had a e in production, but not an "all-star". He is not even really a good second option. If he was, the Hornets with a top 5-10 player in Paul would be a lot better.
Spurs had Duncan+Parker+Gino + very average players and won les.
NOH has Paul+West+Okafor and suck something fierce. We know Paul is legit. So that means West is clearly not that good of a second option.
Peja is such a scrub. I can't believe how much money they gave him.
I think this is a personnel problem. As stupid as it may sound, teams are able to take the ball out of Paul's hands and play the passing lanes and the entire team is shut down offensively. He is the only one who can pass. Everyone else puts the ball on the floor and drives to the rim or spot-shoots. This leads to many, many offensive fouls (charges), turnovers, and bad shots. Also, when the offense doesn't click, you can run off the dead-ball because they stand around and talk about it. When they had Jannero Pargo, Bobby Jackson, or Mike James on the team, you could force the ball out of his hands and the Hornets still were dangerous because they had another play-maker on the floor. Now, the ball is put on the ground, drawing lots of offensive-fouls, or is passed in standing positons only.
I can't wait to see this playing on another team without mini- CP3 making him look good. I can see this guy being another Drew Gooden...

On a another note, the Texans do have alot of talent, it's just Steve Slaton (and the other backs) won't quit putting the ball on the ground and their running game is killing them

BTW, byron scott leaving the hornets is the best move we have made so far this year. His system sucked, he was full of himself, and really close-minded. Maybe now we can develop our young players.
