McDyess starting, I like. Normally when I stay up late to watch Spurs games we win, and it's 1:30 am over here so hopefully this trend continues.

we don't need him, he's just one more new player taking minutes from better players and making it even harder for this team to build some chemistry on the court.

Edit: I am watching a chinese stream of Spurs basketball. I am lucky it is my mother tongue. The commentators say the Spurs have many fans in China. Maybe that is why Duncan was able to get many all-star votes for the past few years. He usually does not have many fans in US except for Spurs fans.

I really really hope you're talking about 30 year old Bowen and not 37 year old Bowen.
If/when we are deep into the playoffs, Bogans will not be part of the rotation, so what's the point? this team needs to gel with all the new blood, the main 5 man rotations need minutes together. the last thing they need is yet another new player trying to fit in the mix.

Nonsense. Bogans is a good defender. Maybe not Bowen standard. But he is still better than Finley, Mason, Jefferson and Ginobili as a defender at this point. We have enough offense if the entire team is healthy. This lineup allows Bogans to catch the ball in the corner for the three and can occasionally cut baseline for the layup which has happened, something Bowen, Finley never did. All of this while Parker gets the driving lane he needs for the Spurs offense.

Erm Ratliff in lineup? Doesnt Dice bring more to the table than a starter? I like the above rotation too. Parker must commit to defense. Something like ray allen

I like this starting lineup... Doesn't force Matt Bonner to start, nor does it force Ratliff to... Keep Bogan's defense in at SG.
