    The Reggie Miller/Rip Hamilton Jumper is effective, but far from pretty, elegant, or textbook. I would never teach anyone to shoot like that.

    The Marion/Prince/Kirlenko shot is oooooooglay.

    Ray Allen has the prettiest shot. Doesn't mean I want him to shoot anymore, as his shot is so damn unreliable these days, but it is pretty...

    Michael Finley's is beautiful, so is RayRay's. Kobe's is pretty, too

    I really don't like jumpers who do girly-girl jumping forward rather than straight up. Both Manu and Tony jump forward.

    Dell Curry had the sweetest stroke I've ever seen, and the quickest release. You gave him a millisecond of time and a millimeter of room and he was pulling.

    Finley, definitely. Nash, definitely. Dirk, disagree. Obviously one of the game's great shooters, but from an elegance standpoint his shot just looks too rushed, too herky-jerky. JMO.......

    Agreed. Finley has a great jumpshot, Nash is mechanically beautiful, but Dirk's really isn't that elegant at all. His feet are spread too far apart.

    Ya i kinda see where your coming from. His legs are kinda far apart.
    But from just upper body, hes shooting stroke is beautiful.

    but fin is my definite #1.

    I showed up early to the Mav/Spur game on the 18th and was watching him warmup. He shot for like 20 minutes, and I only think he missed twice. I forgot how awesome his shot looked.
