They also like to make fun of Dirk. I've never heard of rape victims making fun of their assailants. You don't see Katelyn Faber making fun of Kobe.
Kobe is definitely near the top. But the rest of the list is crap (with the exception of Kidd, maybe Nash). We're talking about BB IQ of both ends of the court, right?
Tim Duncan probably has one of the top BB IQs in the history of the league.
I'm pretty sure if I was blessed with Kobe's size and natural athleticism (note: not talking about his polished offensive game, that's something he's earned) I would probably be a pretty good basketball player as well.

It's a legitimate question and has absolutely nothing to do with Kobe's basketball IQ, which is no doubt among the highest in the league.
That said, I'm definitely surprised to read Lebron James, and not Tim Duncan or Dirk, for example.

Kobe's definitely #1 on this list. The guy does so many little things that people don't notice. Unfortunately for him, being smart enough to know what a bad shot is, and having the discipline to not take that bad shot are two different things.
Agreed about Duncan, I was expecting him to be #2 on the list if he wasn't #1, so the credibility of the list went to once they put Carmelo's name up there.
One thing I'll say about Kobe though, is his ability to read defenses as an offensive player is unmatched. That's what separates him from a player like Melo. I mean, it helps having a Gasol on your team, but he's gotten consistently better in the past 5 seasons.
It's a very guard-centric list.
